Pam McGee, the second overall pick in the WNBA's inaugural draft, is expected to announce her retirement from pro basketball today, Los Angeles Sparks sources said Wednesday. McGee, who with her identical twin sister, Paula, played on two NCAA championship teams at USC, started 22 of the Sparks' 30 games last year and averaged 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds. She was drafted by Sacramento in 1997 and was later traded to the Sparks.
