Even in the curious world of reality television, Bethenny Frankel is a curiosity -- or, at the very least, a living, breathing oxymoron. The breakout star of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York," she's the only "housewife" who isn't actually a housewife. That didn't stop her from costarring in the series' most talked-about episode of last season, when frenemy -- make that enemy -- Kelly Bensimon announced to Frankel that they'd never be friends because (raising her hand) Kelly was "up here" (hen lowering it)

Looks as if Bethenny Frankel's estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, is one big copycat - at least when it comes to filing for divorce. Hoppy's list of demands looks suspiciously like Frankel's, according to TMZ . He reportedly wants primary custody of their 2-year-old daughter Bryn, plus child support, as well as primary custody of their marital house. That's the same house the reality TV star said she wanted when she filed for divorce a few weeks back. Same daughter too. Beyond that, he's reportedly looking for the same benefits-style package she styled for herself: medical and dental for himself and the kid, with a life insurance policy on his ex-to-be that would benefit him and Bryn.

Volume sales from the top 250 liquor brands grew 3.1% last year, according to research group Technomic . The brands generate 88% of the industry's nearly 200 million 9-liter cases and 89% of its dollar sales. Longtime products such as Captain Morgan rum, Jack Daniel's whiskey and Absolut vodka still dominate the market.

The only truly surprising thing about this week's "TV Reality Star Commits Suicide" headlines is that they haven't appeared sooner. The death of Russell Armstrong, who appeared with his wife, Taylor, and their 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy, on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," has given the world of situational reality TV pause. Like a number of those participating in the endlessly self-spawning franchise, the Armstrongs were unstable both maritally and financially. Not surprisingly, the pressures of the show, which, according to friends, demanded that they play up their problems rather than try to solve them, did not improve things.
