First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck were among a high-powered roster of public figures whose personal and financial information was posted on the Internet. The data, which include purported home addresses, Social Security numbers, phone numbers and credit reports, appeared on a website that seemed to originate in Russia. The Secret Service and the FBI said Tuesday that they were opening investigations, and President Obama confirmed the apparent breach.

For months, the online rumor mill has churned with suspicions that Beyonce and Lady Gaga would reunite for a third collaboration, a single called "Ratchet. " Eagle-eyed fans pointed to the Instagram accounts of the two formidable pop divas as proof that a new collaboration was brewing. The rumors started when Beyonce posted a set of pictures of her hoop earrings -- engraved with the word "Ratchet" -- on the photo-sharing website. In one, the singer rocks the chunky accessory and a fitted Houston Rockets cap on what appears to be a set of some sort.

Beyonce has been running afoul of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals all year, at least. First there was her fur coat at the presidential inauguration. Then there was her Super Bowl costume, which used leather and exotic skins. Now it's some custom-made PMK (Perfectly Made Kicks) wedge sneakers that incorporate ostrich, sting ray, anaconda and crocodile skins. "These custom-made kicks come with a high price and it's paid by the various animals who were beaten and skinned alive or cruelly farmed and killed," PETA said in a statement.

On Sunday, Beyoncé scored her 17th Grammy, which puts her just one trophy behind the second most awarded female singer, Aretha Franklin. But that was just a relaxing Sunday evening for the pop superstar, who has spent the last two weeks leaving more glitter-encrusted impressions on the zeitgeist. First, she performed at President Obama's inauguration ( perhaps you heard about it? ) and then headlined the Super Bowl halftime show, all without issuing any new music. For all the praise that's justly been lavished on Beyoncé during her career, the singer hasn't had many blemishes.

Beyonce says that HBO's new documentary, “Beyonce: Life Is But a Dream,” was the outgrowth of her sense that despite more than a dozen years in the public spotlight, first with the group Destiny's Child then as a breakout solo performer who has become one of the pop music world's biggest stars, “people didn't know who I was.” The film, which premieres Saturday on the cable channel, examines the artist's life and touches on several topics...

Beyoncé is stripping down and baring it all in a refreshing way in her March interview with Vogue , in which she gushes about her baby girl Blue Ivy, childbirth, work and being Mrs. Jay-Z. Though the interview for the mag's March issue happened before the flurry of lip-synch-gate and her eye-popping Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, the 31-year-old gave candid responses to interviewer Jason Gay, who was taken by the show that has become her life and the woman in that starring role.

Whether on stage in a Rubin Singer leather and lace number at the Super Bowl or ducking paparazzi in a sweater and jeans with rapper-husband Jay-Z, Beyoncé knows how to work her curves.

This will go down as the year the Grammy Awards red carpet went classy. No breasts? No buttocks? No problem. Whether it was intentional, in the end, the best-dressed stars did not run afoul of the much-discussed wardrobe advisory sent last week by CBS' standards and practices committee advising attendees to cover up. Thongs and sheer panels were out, the email said. So was cleavage, puffy skin (whatever that means) and "bare flesh undercurves. That was a tremendous Super Bowl, a superb roller coaster ride, which ended in a most dubious way with a horrible non-call hold on fourth down that cost the 49ers a sixth Super Bowl victory. Were those replacement refs? But this game personified why football is our national passion. Now, what do we do for the next six months until the NFL Hall of Fame game? Gino Cirignano Playa del Rey :: I am not convinced the better team won the Super Bowl. But I know with certainty the better coach won it. With first and goal and the NFL's best running quarterback at the helm (a guy who is averaging nine yards per carry in this game)
