Anyone taking the kids to Disneyland this spring should consider this Travelzoo hotel offer within walking distance of the Anaheim theme park. A room for four costs $119 for a night or $219 for two nights - and that includes free parking and breakfast. The deal: The Travelzoo deal really suits families with kids who don't want to spend a fortune on a hotel room but do want to stay close to the park. It's good at the Anabella Hotel (1030 W. Katella Ave.), which is within walking distance of Disneyland.

Hotel Abri in San Francisco was built the year after the city's devastating 1906 earthquake. The former Monticello Hotel has been transformed from a vintage building into a contemporary boutique hotel with an urban vibe. Now the Abri offers a spring deal on rates, but only for a limited time. The deal: The Get Lucky offer takes 20% off nightly rates at the hotel at 127 Ellis St. in the downtown area north of Market Street and not far from Union Square. "You only turn 40 once," Southwest Airlines says on its online sale page. Really? I feel as though Southwest has been ballyhooing birthday promotions forever -- not that I'm complaining. The airline Tuesday launched an autumn airfare sale with one-way fares of $40, $80 and $120 depending on how far you fly. But think fast because the offer is good only until Thursday. And be patient -- Southwest's website may be slow to upload. The deal: The Celebrating 40 Years With $40 Fares One-Way sale works this way: $40 for short flights (up to 450 miles)

Winter airfare sales are such a distraction at this time of year. Aren't we all supposed to be holiday shopping? Nevermind. Check out what could be good savings on fares for winter or spring break. Would you believe $19 to Las Vegas? JetBlue Airways: Las Vegas is the sweet spot for this airfare sale. The airline's website said Tuesday that JetBlue will fly five flights daily between Long Beach and Las Vegas and, for a limited time, will charge just $19 plus tax each way. Last week, no-frills newcomer Allegiant Air promoted a $40.68 round-trip fare on the same route to celebrate its new service, which starts Dec. 15. It will be interesting to see how this Vegas airfare war plays out – hopefully with more low fares for fliers.

Summer airfare sales at JetBlue Airways and Frontier Airlines could help if you're a little behind on summer vacation planning. JetBlue has lowered the price on Las Vegas to $29 each way from Long Beach. And Frontier offers $84 fares each way from Los Angeles to Denver. Act quickly if you want a seat because these sales end Thursday night -- that's tonight. [ Updated at 11:09 a.m. July 7: Virgin America is also cutting fares, mainly for autumn, with a Quadruple Play sale that lasts only until 4 p.m. Pacific time Thursday (July 7)

Who said airfare deals would peter out in 2011? I suppose they still might, but here's one I like from JetBlue that features good fares for spring from Long Beach. One-way fares start at $39 to Sacramento, San Francisco and Oakland, and $49 to Seattle -- but you must book by Tuesday night. The deal: The So-Much-to-Love Sale also features one-way fares of $65 to Salt Lake City, $69 to Portland and $84 to Austin, Texas. One-way coast-to-coast hauls to New York City and Boston are set at $129 fromĀ  Long Beach or Los Angeles International Airport.
