Colorado ski and snowboard resorts are rolling out a variety of inexpensive early-season bargains to lure schussers onto their slopes.  Here's a sampling: Colorado Gems Card : This discount card is good at the eight Colorado Gem resorts (Arapahoe Basin, Eldora, Loveland, Monarch, Powderhorn, Ski Cooper, Ski Granby Ranch and Sunlight). It offers deals and discounts for skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. In addition to the resorts' upgraded season-long deals, there is a new component to this year's Gems Card: Flash Deals, which are special promotions and ways to save that are unique to each Gem resort and will be announced at the last minute throughout the season.

Cyber Monday brings out the strangest hotel bargains, but we're not complaining. These two Manhattan hotels make a winter trip to the Big Apple a bit more affordable. But watch the timing: One deal has a tiny booking period, while the other is wide open. From 1:29 p.m. to 1:58 p.m. EST (10:29 a.m. to 10:58 a.m. PST)

I love introductory airfares that airlines offer when they start new service because they nearly always involve crazy low prices. Case in point: $149 each way from San Diego to Honolulu this winter after Alaska Airlines starts daily nonstop service in November. Need I say more? The deal : Alaska Airlines' Introducing San Diego to Honolulu fares start at $149 each way plus tax and fees. Yes, this airfare is super-low but my research shows that this price isn't available on all dates.

Here's a nice getaway for those who put off their summer vacation or want an inexpensive winter break. And let's face it: Hawaii is almost always a nice weather spot. The deal: Check out the featured fares on the airline's website to find cheapest seats month by month. Lowest fares apply to midweek flights; weekends cost about $50 more.

It just got more expensive to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. Again. Walt Disney Co. raised entry prices to its theme parks in California and Florida, effective Sunday. A single-day ticket to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim for visitors 10 or older now costs $92, up from $87 -- a jump of nearly 6%. It's no secret that movies inspire travelers to visit places they see on the big screen. Now one travel company has designed a tour to India based on the movie " The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel . " The film takes place in Rajasthan, and the 13-day tour follows suit. However participants stay in four-star hotels rather than the down-at-the-heel "hotel" shown in the film (though there's a visit to that site). The trip begins and ends in Delhi and includes a tuk-tuk ride, a visit to Kanota Castle where the Viceroy Club was set in the film, and a day trip to Rawla Kumpar to see the hotel featured in the movie.

Yotel New York , which uses the term "cabins" instead of "rooms" at its Manhattan hotel, is offering rooms, uh, cabins for a limited time for $129 a night, a slim price for a night on the town.
