Anyone taking the kids to Disneyland this spring should consider this Travelzoo hotel offer within walking distance of the Anaheim theme park. A room for four costs $119 for a night or $219 for two nights - and that includes free parking and breakfast. The deal: The Travelzoo deal really suits families with kids who don't want to spend a fortune on a hotel room but do want to stay close to the park. It's good at the Anabella Hotel (1030 W. Katella Ave.), which is within walking distance of Disneyland.

Winter airfare sales are such a distraction at this time of year. Aren't we all supposed to be holiday shopping? Nevermind. Check out what could be good savings on fares for winter or spring break. Would you believe $19 to Las Vegas? JetBlue Airways: Las Vegas is the sweet spot for this airfare sale. The airline's website said Tuesday that JetBlue will fly five flights daily between Long Beach and Las Vegas and, for a limited time, will charge just $19 plus tax each way. Last week, no-frills newcomer Allegiant Air promoted a $40.68 round-trip fare on the same route to celebrate its new service, which starts Dec. 15. It will be interesting to see how this Vegas airfare war plays out – hopefully with more low fares for fliers.

Who said airfare deals would peter out in 2011? I suppose they still might, but here's one I like from JetBlue that features good fares for spring from Long Beach. One-way fares start at $39 to Sacramento, San Francisco and Oakland, and $49 to Seattle -- but you must book by Tuesday night. The deal: The So-Much-to-Love Sale also features one-way fares of $65 to Salt Lake City, $69 to Portland and $84 to Austin, Texas. One-way coast-to-coast hauls to New York City and Boston are set at $129 from  Long Beach or Los Angeles International Airport.
