Get ready for Bobby Brown, the sequel. The controversial R&B singer is returning to the reality TV arena. BET is preparing a new project with Brown, whose stormy marriage with late singer Whitney Houston was chronicled in his 2005 Bravo reality series "Being Bobby Brown. " Sources said the new series would revolve around Brown's "life and businesses. " The project with Brown, who is currently touring with the reunited New Edition, will be executive produced by James DuBose, who has developed several other celebrity-based reality shows for BET. One of his most high-profile series centered on Philadelphia Eagles star Michael Vick, who staged a comeback after being imprisoned for his involvement in a dogfighting ring.

Who got Whitney Houston started using drugs? Bobby Brown says it wasn't him, thank you very much. Houston's drug use started "way before" he entered the picture, he told Matt Lauer in an interview that will air this week on the “ Today ” show. "I didn't get high [on narcotics] before I met Whitney," Brown said. "I smoked weed, I drank the beer, but no, I wasn't the one that got Whitney on drugs at all. " He said that watching the reality show they did together in 2005, “Being Bobby Brown,” was enlightening.

For Bobby Brown, a plea deal entered Wednesday in Van Nuys means that his recent DUI case is, for the most part, one for the books. Through his attorney, who appeared in L.A. Superior Court on his behalf, the singer pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence, L.A. Now reported. He'd found himself in trouble after a midday arrest in the San Fernando Valley on March 26. In addition to three years' informal probation, he was hit with a one-day jail sentence.

Whitney Houston's will and estate leave no room for confusion. Everything goes to a single heir: Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19, the late singer's one and only child. And ex-husband Bobby Brown gets nothing. That's what attorney Kenny Meisalas, who represents Houston, told the Associated Press this week. Unlike other celebrity estates that may be subject to disputes and dueling survivors trying to get their hands on the riches, Houston's estate was apparently well-managed and organized.

Outside the Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts, the flag flew at half-staff in the icy wind as Principal Henry W. Hamilton remembered the gangly 15-year-old who lived up the road, and who excitedly showed off her modeling portfolio to him one afternoon in 1978. Back then, before the red brick school had been renamed for the future pop queen, Hamilton didn't expect Whitney Houston to become a star. Houston died Saturday of undetermined causes. "She was in the choir and the chorus.
