The King wants his crown back: Fast-food chain Burger King is continuing its reinvention by planning to go public - again. Within the next three months, the hamburger giant said it will re-list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange. The last time Burger King traded publicly was from 2006 to 2010, when investment firm 3G Capital took it over for a whopping $3.3 billion and turned it private. In a bit of a convoluted deal, 3G said late Tuesday that it is selling a 29% stake in the Miami-based restaurant to London-based acquisition company Justice Holdings.

Craving a Whopper but tied to your desk? Burger King Corp. is starting to offer a delivery option in a limited East Coast test. The fast food giant is sending its burgers to customers for a $2 fee from four Washington, D.C., restaurants. The chain told the Chicago Tribune that the test would roll out to a total of 16 stores by early next week. A website for Burger King's higher-end, booze-selling concept restaurant Whopper Bar in South Beach, Fla., also offers delivery, though the service is free with a $10 minimum order.

The latest entry in the fast-food value menu competition comes from Burger King, with the launch of its King Deals on Monday. The offerings include more than 20 items that are priced starting at $1. The list includes the new Rodeo Crispy Chicken sandwich and the Rodeo Burger -- both a dollar each -- as well as chicken nuggets, a double cheeseburger and a crispy chicken wrap. If that sounds mighty familiar to the value menu at another quick-service giant, consider that McDonald's updated its Dollar Menu just this fall.

Hollywood's finally touched the remote island of Sarawak in Borneo. Orion's "Farewell to the King" is shooting there and the cast (starring Nick Nolte) and crew are receiving red-carpet treatment, especially in the Kuching Holiday Inn where they're holed up. And especially writer-director John Milius. He's been immortalized in the hotel restaurant with a six-inch high, three-pound "Milius Burger" ("pork-free hamburger upon request").

Burger King is getting healthier -- or so the fast-food chain would have you believe. BK has unveiled a new menu that includes 10 dishes it says will appeal to diet- and fitness-conscious consumers. These taste treats include Caesar salads, smoothies and wraps. "We spent the last year analyzing every aspect of our business to better understand what our guests expect from the Burger King dining experience," says Steve Wiborg, the company's North American president. "We found that consumers wanted a broader range of menu options to complement our signature fire-grilled burgers.

Burger King seems to be getting its summer inspiration from Southern barbecue joints, with new menu items such as sweet potato fries, Memphis pulled-pork sandwiches and, to keep things interesting, bacon sundaes. Summer options also include Whopper or chicken sandwiches made with Carolina or Texas BBQ sauce as well as frozen lemonades, according to Foodbeast , which got a tip that the burger chain is training its employees to prepare the new options.
