Chris Brown's Washington, D.C., trial on an allegation of assault has been delayed until Wednesday after a guilty verdict for bodyguard Christopher Hollosy complicated defense-attorney plans. It was thought that Hollosy might testify that only he, not Brown, threw a punch in October at a man who told authorities he was only trying to get into a picture two women were taking with the singer, according to the Associated Press. However, Hollosy's attorney now intends to appeal his client's Monday verdict, and any testimony by the bodyguard without a promise of immunity granted by prosecutors could affect that appeal.  The accused both maintain that 20-year-old Parker Adams was trying to get on Brown's tour bus, and that any punches thrown were to defend the celeb.

Did Chris Brown Google "people with similar popularity ratings to Chris Brown" for Halloween costume ideas last night? That's the only explanation for why America's most unsavory R&B singer decided to dress up as a Taliban fighter for Rihanna 's Halloween party at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood. Brown, most recently under fire for getting a tattoo that eerily resembled the bloodied face of onetime girlfriend Rihanna, donned a full headscarf, robe, fake beard and bullet chain with a crew of similarly attired peers for the party.

Singer Chris Brown has been taken by U.S. marshals from the Los Angeles County jail system so he can appear at his assault trial in Washington, D.C., later this month. Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, confirmed Thursday that the R&B singer had been taken by federal marshals to the San Bernardino County jail while he awaits transportation to Washington, D.C. Inmate records show he was taken from "LA cell block" at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. Law enforcement sources said he was set to be flown out to the East Coast on Thursday, the same day a hearing had been scheduled for a motion by Geragos seeking to block Brown's transfer to federal authorities, arguing it would hurt his ability to confer with his client before the trial.  Geragos had also sought permission to transport the singer himself, but as soon as the motion was filed, the attorney said federal authorities took his client.

Singer Chris Brown could face up to four years in prison if a judge determines he violated the terms of his probation when he was kicked out of a rehabilitation facility in Malibu. Brown, who has been in jail since the end of last week, was denied bail on Monday and ordered to remain behind bars until at least an April 23, his next scheduled court hearing. Brown's ejection from rehab is a potential violation of the court-ordered treatment for his conviction in 2009 for beating singer Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time.

Not far into Sunday's Grammy telecast there was a pivotal shot. During one of those predictable tight pans of celebrities in attendance, the camera found Rihanna . She looked radiant in her red gown and flowing tresses as she smiled widely for the camera. Despite how tight the frame was, it was impossible not to notice Chris Brown seated next to her. Backstage a few reporters groaned whenever the camera captured the two cuddled together and smiling widely, and their seating arrangement provided plenty of fodder, both good and bad, on social media networks.
