A federal appeals court in Boston has ruled that filmmaker Michael Moore did not defame an Iraq war veteran when Moore used a clip from a TV interview without his permission in "Fahrenheit 9/11." Remember that "save the date" rumor about Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, back in February? It turns out the date to save was Saturday, when the two renewed their vows at sunset on St. Lucia island in the Caribbean. Officiating was Damon's late-night frenemy, Jimmy Kimmel, according to People . Overall, it was quite the contrast to their low-key city hall ceremony in late 2005. The Damons, who met 10 years ago, spent $1 million to rent out the entire Sugar Beach resort for the pleasure of their approximately 50 guests, People reported (though other sources put the bill at a more modest $600,000)
