Steven Meyers & Associates Inc. said it has completed its purchase of Decision-Science Applications Inc. for $30.9 million in stock and cash. Steven Meyers, a Newport Beach-based management company, said it expects Decision-Science, based in Arlington, Va., to generate sales of about $42 million in 1998. Steven Meyers had revenue of $24.1 million in the six months ended June 30.

Steven Myers & Associates Inc. of Newport Beach said Wednesday it plans to acquire Decision-Science Applications Inc. for $30.9 million in stock and cash, to boost its technical services and non-defense business. SM&A, which helps companies including Lockheed Martin Corp. and Boeing Co. write and secure contracts, said if the merger is approved by DSA shareholders, the addition of more than 230 DSA scientists will almost triple the company's work force.
