It's “very possible” Manny Pacquiao's fifth fight against Juan Manuel Marquez will take place in Singapore, Bob Arum, the boxers' promoter, said Wednesday. Arum, speaking at a luncheon to promote his first card in China, headlined by the country's two-time U.S. Olympic gold-medalist Zou Shiming on April 6 in Macao, said the massive site fee discussed in informal negotiations has put the Far East in play for the fifth Pacquiao-Marquez bout. Plus, Pacquiao is subject to an increased 39.6% tax rate if he fights in the United States again, Arum said.

Question: Two years ago, I traveled to Tibet, including Lhasa at 11,975 feet above sea level. I started having mild headaches. Two weeks later, as the plane was landing in San Francisco, I became non-responsive. I underwent a craniotomy to relieve pressure from a clot next to my brain. I've had other altitude issues, including passing out while snowshoeing near Mammoth and experiencing altitude sickness after leaving Cuzco, Peru. I know commercial flights are pressurized above sea level, and I have taken some domestic flights.

In a city that could be considered the melting pot of the world, it's only fitting that our pick for a St. Patrick's Day cocktail is Mexican. Created by mixologist Gilbert Marquez for Santa Monica's nouveau Mexican restaurant Mercado, the drink is called the Irish Poet. The spicy libation is fueled by the smoky flavor of mezcal, the heat of seeded poblano peppers, the zing of fresh lime juice and a lick of chipotle pepper-infused salt. Inspiration for the drink struck Marquez after a riotous tequila-drinking session with a loquacious Irishman in Mexico.

Puerto Vallarta , Mexico , is making a comeback with the spring break crowd, according to statistics compiled by Kayak , an aggregator website that searches hundreds of websites.  “We looked at more than 1 billion searches and found Puerto Vallarta stood out as a trending destination,” said Jessica Casano-Anonellis, Kayak spokesperson.  “Compared to the weeks before and after the spring break season, the Mexican beach city's...

This website finds savings so much deeper than those from Kayak and Travelocity that you'll think it's magic. Name: GetGoing.com What it does: Finds better rates for flights by showing airlines that they are selling to leisure travelers. Deals are found when the traveler is flexible about dates and destinations. What's hot: Proven savings are key. I tested flights for two adults and one child from San Diego to Beaches and Sun for June 22. I got several destination options and narrowed them to two choices: San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Honolulu.

Echo Park has a new fancy cocktail den in Allumette. In the old Allston Yacht Club space next door to the neighborhood liquor store House of Spirits Allumette is the new restaurant by Vagrancy Project chef Miles Thompson. To complement his intricate small plates, including raviolo of liquefied blood pudding with scallop carpaccio and caramelized anchovy; and fried oyster with kimchi ranch dressing, Asian pear mignonette and sea spinach, he's brought on former Pour Vous and Harvard & Stone mixologist Serena Herrick.

Matt Damon is reportedly getting married again - to his wife and mother of his children, Luciana Barroso. Seems their discreet city hall ceremony back in December 2005, while official, wasn't the stuff of their dreams. Now, more than seven years and three daughters later, they're planning a destination wedding to be held in April, according to the New York Post. "They had a really low-key wedding in Manhattan," a source told the Post's Page Six , "so now they want to do something bigger.

Josh Gates travels the world eating creepy food ("lamb face or goat testicles, lamb face or goat testicles" he ponders over one faraway dining choice), driving crappy cars and chasing monsters on the SyFy channel's "Destination Truth. "  "The incredible fringe benefit is the privilege to travel," he said during an appearance at the Los Angeles Times Travel Show on Saturday afternoon. Gates, a scrappy rough-and-tumble travel guy, returns to the Travel Show at 3 p.m. Sunday for those who want to learn about how to start traveling more adventurously.
