Adam Levine brings his rocker sex appeal to this month's cover of Details magazine, and given that "The Voice" judge is currently single, what better way to celebrate than a guys' night out? Levine was toasted by the magazine's editor in chief, Dan Peres, at West Hollywood Italian spot Dominicks, where pals of Adam including Matthew Morrison, Cash Warren, Wiz Khalifa and Maroon 5 member James Valentine came to mingle and dine. Martinis flowed while friends discussed Adam's banner year, including his upcoming TV acting debut on Season Two of Ryan Murphy's"American Horror Story.

Matthew Broderick has gone from playing a hapless Broadway producer in the hit musical "The Producers" to a hapless movie writer-director in the new comedy "The Last Shot," which opens Friday. The two-time Tony Award winner and husband of Sarah Jessica Parker plays Steven Schatz, an aspiring screenwriter who has lived in Hollywood for several years trying to pitch a morbid script about the death of his sister to anybody who will listen. But nobody will.

There comes a time in every party girl's life when the party stops being fun. Such was the case Friday night at the parties surrounding Coachella when massive lines, overcrowding, ridiculous displays of outsized drunkenness and the general fatigue of everyone made for a tough night out. The evening's biggest letdown came in the form of the Diesel + Edun / Rolling Stone: Studio Africa party. Located at a posh ranch just off the festival grounds, the party -- scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. -- was crammed to capacity by 11:15.

We've learned that Black Cards, featuring bassist Pete Wentz, will make a surprise performance Friday night at Paul & Andre in Hollywood, as Details magazine brings its "Details @ Midnight" sessions to L.A. And though we hate to ruin a surprise, we love talking to Wentz — about his favorite L.A. venues and the particular sound that makes his son happiest. What's special about a surprise gig ? It can end up being either super disappointing or awesome for the audience.
