After standing by her man, Shellie Zimmerman is striking out on her own: She has filed divorce from her husband, George Zimmerman, her attorney told the Los Angeles Times on Thursday. The pair have had trouble staying out of the headlines following George Zimmerman's July acquittal in the death of Trayvon Martin. He's since reportedly visited the factory that made the gun he used to shoot Martin and has been pulled over twice for speeding, most recently Tuesday in Lake Mary, Fla. Last week, Shellie Zimmerman, 26, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor perjury for lying to a judge about the strength of the couple's finances as the judge was setting bail for George Zimmerman.

Dear Liz: How long must I be punished for my ex's poor payment history? In our divorce he agreed to pay the credit cards and other bills. He defaulted and has filed for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. My credit scores plummeted, and recently one of the cards I obtained on my own to help rebuild my credit has dropped me, stating my credit scores as the reason. Do I have any recourse here? Answer: Not really. As you've discovered, creditors don't have to pay any attention to divorce decrees that say who's responsible for paying what.

Rutina Wesley of "True Blood" has filed for divorce from her husband of eight years. Wesley, 34, plays feisty vampire Tara Thornton in the campy HBO series, which wrapped its sixth season on Sunday. The actress filed for the split from actor Jacob Fishel on Aug. 16, according to court documents obtained by People and TMZ. In the document, Wesley cited irreconcilable differences and has requested that Fishel not receive any spousal support. Actor Paul Wesley, who stars on "The Vampire Diaries," and actress Torrey DeVitto listed their home in the Hollywood Hills for sale at $1.595 million and within two weeks had a bite. The house is in escrow. The 1920s Mediterranean-style villa features a rotunda entry, beamed ceilings, vintage tile, a circular dining room, an oak staircase, three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 3,262 square feet of living space. There is a courtyard and a detached office/gym. Wesley has starred on "Diaries" since the show started in 2009.

Khloe Kardashian Odom and Lamar Odom are not divorcing - that from Kardashian momager Kris Jenner, who on Wednesday addressed rumors of the couple's rocky marriage. "Khloe and Lamar are absolutely not getting divorced," Jenner told E! News. "There's been no talk of divorce. " Jenner also said both Khloe and Lamar were at her home two days ago and everything was fine, TMZ reported . People who grow up with lots of siblings are more likely to marry -- and to stay married -- than are only children or those who grew up with one or two siblings, a new study has found. Those of us who grew up in big families may get more practice suppressing the urge to strangle a bullying older brother in his sleep, or to stick an annoying little sister's head in the toilet -- a useful exercise for sustaining a marital relationship. We may be more skilled in creating alliances with siblings when adversity outside or elsewhere in the family mounts.

Toni Braxton has officially ended her 12-year marriage. The Grammy-winning singer's divorce from Keri Lewis is final, her rep said in a statement Wednesday. "The couple has had an amicable split and will still both be actively involved in raising their two sons," the statement said.
