Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and third wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch, are close to finalizing their divorce, according to people with knowledge of the matter. The estranged couple has negotiated a settlement that will bring their 14-year marriage to an end. "Rupert is very happy to have this almost behind him," said a person close to the mogul who requested anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak publicly. Tom Cruise's divorce from Katie Holmes generated big headlines but little actual detail about the split. Now a newly leaked deposition from the action star's legal proceeding against Bauer Publishing is giving a small peek behind the scenes. Cruise in October 2012 brought a $50-million defamation suit against the publisher of Life & Style and InTouch magazines over cover stories that accused him of abandoning daughter Suri after the split with Holmes. In the supposedly confidential depo, obtained by TMZ and others, Cruise admitted that although Holmes was a practicing Scientologist before and during the marriage, she ended her relationship with the church at the time of the divorce.

Twenty-first century seniors: They're not your grandparents' old folks. The elderly are growing increasingly diverse in the United States, a new report from UCLA researchers shows. Roughly one out of five are members of a racial or ethnic minority. More than one out of eight were born outside the country. By 2050, Latinos are projected to make up 20% of those 65 and older. Their lives also reflect other changes that have reverberated through American society in recent decades: Nearly 12% of seniors are separated or divorced, almost three times as many as in 1970, the report found.

After 11 years of married life in Paris, my French husband and I divorced. I packed up our two kids and returned to my native California, to Los Angeles - a place I considered not so much a city as a motorized less-than. No cafe-lined grands boulevards where the chic could stroll and discuss philosophy, just plenty of strip malls filled with doughnut shops and nail salons where regulars carped about traffic and cellphone service. But my kids needed to keep up their French, and L.A. had not one but at least two French schools, so I anticipated the positives.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have reportedly reached a divorce settlement. The high-paid celebs, who called it quits on their six-year marriage in November 2011, are said to have signed the paperwork needed to officially end their union. And it's about time. Since Kutcher officially filed for divorce on Dec. 21, 2012, the "Two and a Half Men" star has been openly dating his "That '70s Show" costar Mila Kunis and the former @mrskutcher has recently been linked to Australian pearl diver Will Hanigan, 30. "They are about to file paperwork with the court that will formally end their marriage.

This time it's really happening: Dina Eastwood has filed for divorce from husband Clint Eastwood - that after previously withdrawing papers she'd filed in September requesting a legal separation. In the papers, filed Tuesday in Monterey County Superior Court, Dina is requesting physical custody of their only child together, 16-year-old daughter Morgan, according to People . She's also asking for him to pay alimony and her attorney fees.  "They were a great couple," a source close to the family told the mag in September.

Linda Kozlowski Hogan, who starred with Paul Hogan in the 1986 hit "Crocodile Dundee" and its 1988 sequel before marrying her leading man in 1990, has reportedly filed for divorce. The 55-year-old actress, who is asking for her maiden name to be restored, filed papers citing irreconcilable differences and asking for spousal support and joint custody of their 15-year-old son, Chance, TMZ reported Thursday.  Seems 74-year-old Paul Hogan isn't in the mood for a second ugly divorce after his 1986 split from first wife Noelene Edwards, the mother of five of his six children, whom he left for costar Kozlowski.

Timbaland and his wife are reportedly heading toward divorce, and his wife is asking him to pay child support for both her children, one of whom the producer didn't father. Monique Mosley, who has been married to the Grammy-winning music producer for five years, is asking for quite a bit of cash too, TMZ and E! News report. In the documents filed by Timbaland's soon-to-be-ex-wife, she indicates that the couple have been together for 10 years. They have a 5-year-old daughter together, Reign, and Mosley has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.

Kris Jenner says she regrets divorcing her first husband Robert Kardashian, the late O.J. Simpson defense lawyer and father to her children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob Kardashian Jr. The reality TV mom's revelation comes just a few days after the announcement that she and second husband Bruce Jenner were living separately after 22 years of marriage and were much "happier" having separate homes -- she in Calabasas and he in Malibu. Bruce Jenner and wife Kris Jenner, the Kardashian momager, have separated but don't plan to file for divorce. "I'm doing great," the former Olympian, 63, told People. "Kris is happy, I'm happy. Nobody is filing for divorce. " The couple, who have been married since 1991, announced their separation Tuesday , confirming that the two were happily living apart -- he at his Malibu beach house and she at the Kardashian family home in Calabasas. "We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the " Keeping Up With the Kardashians " stars said in a joint statement.
