Earthquakes in two regions of the world killed at least four people Thursday. A 5.2-magnitude quake hit Taiwan, killing two people and injuring 10 as rocks crashed through the roof of a bus on a mountain road. The incident occurred in the scenic Taroko Gorge area near the east coast city of Hualien, not far from the epicenter. Another 5.2-magnitude quake shook Cyprus and parts of Israel, killing two Cypriots and causing minor damage in the western part of the island, authorities said.
