Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria have joined other East Bloc nations in seeking diplomatic relations with the European Communities, officials of the West European group said in Brussels. The Soviet Union and East Germany requested diplomatic ties immediately after the initialing in Moscow last week of a joint declaration providing for mutual recognition between the European Communities and the East Bloc trading group, Comecon.
