Four Nicaraguan army officers charged with selling anti-aircraft missiles to Salvadoran rebels were sentenced to 3 1/2-year prison terms by a military court, authorities said. The four confessed earlier this year to selling 28 Soviet-made surface-to-air missiles to rebels of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front. The Salvadoran military said that surface-to-air missiles launched by rebels have been used to shoot down at least five military aircraft.
