A student found a bomb Monday at an elementary school. The device was defused safely and there were no reports of injuries. The device was found before 2:30 p.m. at Piner Elementary School, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. The student found the bomb on the far east side of the school grounds, authorities said. The student gave it to a teacher,who turned it over to the principal. Deputies cordoned off the area where the bomb was found and defused it.
