Susan Ungvary instinctively dialed 911 when her boyfriend collapsed Sunday. She got one busy signal after another. Ungvary ran three blocks to a police station. When paramedics arrived, they couldn't revive John Audy, 41, who was in New York to celebrate Ungvary's birthday. Authorities said he apparently died of a heart attack. Authorities were investigating whether an hourlong malfunctioning of the city's 911 system contributed to Audy's death.
