Actress Emma Roberts, the niece of superstar Julia Roberts, has blossomed into a fashion chameleon, but she wasn't always so glamorous. The young star started out on the red carpet for her aunt's movies in screen print shirts and cargo pants. She's since starred in her own impressive list of films and adopted the roll of fashionable socialite, hitting parties in outfits that range from androgynous and daring to ultra femme and dainty. Roberts, who can next be seen with Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston in the upcoming film "We're the Millers," slated to open August 2013, recently made an appearance at the second a nnual Sean Penn and Friends Help Haiti Home Gala at the Montage Hotel in Los Angeles.

Katie Holmes, Julianna Margulies, Emma Roberts and more stepped out to celebrate the new Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl's DesignNation fashion collection Monday in New York City. DesignNation is the store's new limited-edition collection concept and Rodriguez is the first designer to participate. His collection is scheduled to hit Kohl's stores and Kohls.com on Nov. 7. Just turned 19, tiny, pale-skinned actress Emma Roberts is in amused agreement with her "Valentine's Day" director Garry Marshall when she's told that he said her age group "makes love with its thumbs." "Our generation is definitely all about the texting and the e-mailing and the BBM-ing and the IM-ing; it's endless. I think a lot of things get misconstrued, because tone of voice is so important," she says, by turns claiming she doesn't text as much as she used to, then declaring she still loves it. "There should be a sarcasm font . . . because I'll make a sarcastic comment and the other person thinks I'm being rude when I'm not."
