The Idealab company, which in May bought ailing PointCast, today is set to relaunch the service that made "push" technology famous. The San Diego company will change its name from LaunchPad Technologies to EntryPoint. Like the old PointCast service, EntryPoint will deliver news headlines, stock quotes, sports scores and weather updates to users' computer desktops via the Internet.
