Actress Kiele Sanchez and her ex-husband, writer-director Zach Helm, have sold their house in the Hollywood Hills for $1.75 million. The restored Mediterranean, built in 1928, features a two-story entry, stenciled beam ceilings and original tile work. The 4,000 square feet of living space includes a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, an updated kitchen, a breakfast area, a service entrance, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Sanchez, 34, has starred since 2010 on "The Glades," which has been renewed for a third season.

The longtime Beverly Hills home of the Morey Amsterdam family has sold for $4.9 million. The 5,854-square-foot house, built in 1958, has walls of glass that open to the backyard, a living room with a fireplace and a step-down bar, a breakfast room, a den with a fireplace, four bedrooms and 41/2 bathrooms. The Amsterdams often entertained at the single-story home, throwing dinner parties in the formal dining room or larger parties around the kidney-shaped swimming pool.

Actor Anton Yelchin has become a first-time home buyer with the purchase of a house in Studio City for $945,000. The gated country English-style one-story sits on a quarter of an acre with a swimming pool, a spa and mature trees. The 1,845 square feet of living space features vaulted ceilings, French doors and fireplaces in the living and dining rooms. The house, custom built in 1940, contains three bedrooms and 21/2 bathrooms. Yelchin, 23, played Pavel Chekov in the 2009 "Star Trek" movie.

The bank-owned Santa Paula ranch that screen star Steve McQueen and his third wife, Barbara Minty, once owned has sold for $660,000. The property was listed in 2009 at $1.95 million but after multiple price reductions was lost to foreclosure in November at $699,283. The pair moved to the 15.3-acre Ventura County ranch in 1979 and were married in the home's living room in January 1980. The Victorian-style house, built in 1892, contains some of its original Victorian features, antique stained-glass windows and fireplaces in the family room and kitchen.

Alex Baskin, a producer and writer for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," has bought a condo in the Beverly Grove area for $719,000. The two-bedroom, 21/2-bathroom unit includes a den, dining area, fireplace and living room in 1,552 square feet. The building features a rooftop sun deck, a controlled access elevator and a central courtyard. Baskin also is producing the new series "Beverly Hills Nannies," set to air in July. Public records show that the condo last sold in 2005 at $814,000.

Big-band leader and trumpeter Ray Anthony has put his home in the Hollywood Hills West area on the market at $5.2 million. Custom-built for Anthony in 1975, the 3,881-square-foot house contains a den, an office, a gym, two fireplaces, two bedrooms and three bathrooms. "We built it to take advantage of the tremendous views," he said of his hillside home, which sits on about a quarter-acre on a cul-de-sac. Anthony, who turned 90 this year, used the house for years to run a business selling big-band CDs. He plans to play at a belated celebration marking his birthday this month.

Built in 1957, the 5,000-square-foot Midcentury Modern house includes two atriums, sculptural metal screens, pocket doors, two stone fireplaces and walls of glass. Carports and a motor court can accommodate about 20 cars. There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The 4.6-acre city-view site contains a solar-heated swimming pool, a sports court and a lawn dotted with flagstone pathways. Linkletter, who died in 2010 at 97, hosted the long-running radio and television shows "People Are Funny" starting in the 1940s and "House Party," which was renamed "The Art Linkletter Show.
