It was an evening that would have brought a smile to the face of Jack Haley. For those who care about professionalism behind the mike, however, it was embarrassing. You remember Haley, a former NBA player with the Lakers and several other teams, who traded his uniform in for a Lakers cheerleader outfit when he went to work for the Fox Sports Network. The spirit of Haley was alive and rooting on the FSN postgame show the night the Dodgers clinched the National League West. Sitting in their outfield perch, Steve Lyons, Kevin Kennedy and Jim Watson were literally toasting the Dodgers' achievement, openly celebrating while pouring freely from a bottle we were assured was alcohol-free cider.

Update -- Chivas USA's Maykel Galindo took advantage of a defensive gaffe by Duilio Davino to score the tying goal in the 84th minute when the teams played in the first week. Galindo, who came on as a substitute in that game, should start tonight after going through a full week of practice for the first time this season.

The Canadian team hasn't won since July 4 and hasn't scored a goal since July 7. It has been outscored, 8-0, in its last five games, four losses and one tie, which was against the Galaxy this month. But Chivas could be rusty because it hasn't played in 20 days.

Boise State's dramatic 43-42 overtime victory over Oklahoma in Monday's Fiesta Bowl, originally televised by Fox, will be reshown three times tonight as an edited one-hour special on FSN West. The special, titled "Best Damn Instant Bowl Classic," will air after the Arizona-Washington basketball game at around 9:30 p.m. and again at 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Tonight's UCLA-Oregon State game, originally not scheduled for television, will be televised on FSN Prime Ticket at 7.
