Fees charged to developers who build homes within Fullerton Joint Union High School District's boundaries soon may increase. Developers are charged $1.84 per square foot for each new single-family dwelling. District trustees are considering raising that fee to $2.02. District officials said the hike would help pay for new teachers and expansion projects that would be needed if the student population continues to grow from the 10,200 level this year.
