The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will host a performance by the Laudate Women's Choir on Dec. 10. The vocal group from Grace Brethren High School in Simi Valley will present an assortment of holiday music in the museum, near the mock Oval Office, from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. The performance is free with museum admission of $5 general, $3 for ages 62 and older, free for those 15 and younger.

When they enter a room, the Elmore twins don't cause heads to turn as abruptly as do the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, but these two football players are so large and loquacious that people either run and hide or embrace them as gentle giants. Rick, 6 feet 5, 230 pounds, and Cory, 6-5, 240 pounds, are 16-year-old juniors at Simi Valley Grace Brethren. They've been called "super freaks" by the school's principal, Scott Marshall, who used to catch passes from John Elway at Granada Hills.

Well now, that wasn't so tough. Grace Brethren High, which kicked, clawed and fought its way to a baseball championship last season, did it the easy way Friday, dropping Rio Hondo Prep, 6-2, in the Southern Section Division VI title game at Blair Field. Tim Thompson's two-run single blew open the game in the fourth inning, giving the top-seeded Lancers (22-3) a 5-1 lead and, ultimately, their second consecutive championship.

Louis W. Mann has been hired as principal of Grace Brethren High School in Simi Valley. He will start with the 1995 fall term. Mann has been principal of Grace Brethren Elementary School since 1992 and has worked in private schools in Northern California. He has a master's degree in administration from Grace Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Ruth Ann, who have nine children, live in Simi Valley. Mann replaces Delayno Robinson, who left the post to minister full time.

If a single entry epitomized Saturday's annual Simi Valley Days parade, it was the sight of George Raincock, grandson and great-grandson of Simi Valley pioneer families, chugging down Los Angeles Avenue past the judges' stand in a bright green 1946 John Deere tractor. They were moved by the story of 37-year-old Felice Jones of Thousand Oaks, who got acquired immune deficiency syndrome from her former husband and is now not only living with the disease but is married again and working as a model.
