The Huntington Beach Certified Farmers Market has received official approval for a 10-week trial run. Growers will sell peaches, tomatoes and other fresh vegetables in a downtown parking lot beginning Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. The outdoor market at Main Street and Orange Avenue will feature farm products from as far away as Fresno and Visalia. If the market is successful, officials will look for a permanent location, perhaps along 5th Street.
