Hyundai Recall: Owners of almost 250,000 1988 and 1989 Hyundai Excels will be getting letters from the company next month asking them to bring their cars to an authorized dealer to repair a potentially faulty heater valve. Hyundai Motor America, based in Fountain Valley, imports and distributes the Korean-made cars in the United States. The company said it has determined that the valves could malfunction and cause engine coolant to leak into the passenger compartment.
