UltraLink, a Costa Mesa provider of health plan management services, completed its merger with IBenefits Inc., an El Segundo provider of Web-based employee benefits. Financial terms were not disclosed. All employees of the two companies are expected to retain their jobs, the companies said Tuesday.

UltraLink, a Costa Mesa manager of Web-enabled employee benefits administration, said Tuesday that Philip Hashway has been promoted to president. The company said in a news release that Hashway, a former senior director for Compaq Computer Corp., will continue as chief operating officer of the operation created by the July merger of UltraLink and IBenefits Inc. in El Segundo. Hashway also had been worldwide service logistics director for Dell Computer Corp.

UltraLink, a Costa Mesa provider of health plan management services, said Monday that it will merge with an El Segundo provider of Web-based employee benefits. Financial terms were not disclosed. The merger of UltraLink and IBenefits Inc. is designed to expand Web-based tools to UltraLink's larger clients and to give health plan performance management to IBenefits' small- and mid-size companies. No loss of employees is expected at either company as a result of the merger.

Duckett has been a founder and executive of several post-production companies, including 525 Post. * U.S. Bank, the Minneapolis-based financial services company that is moving into the Southern California market, has named Lori Bell a manager of the bank's business development in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.
