Starting next month, United Airlines will let users watch hundreds of movies and TV shows free on their laptops and Apple iOS mobile devices. The airline said customers with compatible devices will be able to watch more than 150 movies and nearly 200 TV shows without having to pay any fees. To watch the free content, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users will have to download the latest version of the United app. The airline said laptop owners will have to download and install a browser plug-in to watch certain types of content.

But a series of online polls this week show many users like the icons featured in the upcoming operating system more than those in iOS 6. The polling service Polar is hosting a series of polls comparing icons on iOS 6 with their iOS 7 counterparts. In most of the polls, users are choosing the new operating system, and when votes from all of the polls are added up together, more go for iOS 7. Starbucks customers using the company's iPhone app will be able to show some love to their baristas by tipping them through their smartphones starting March 19. A British design artist has created an iPhone 6 concept video that shows what users might expect from Apple when the tech giant announces its next iPhone. The video shows an "iPhone Air" that features a 4.7-inch full 1080p HD screen. The device in the video is also 0.28 inches thick, about 9% thinner than the iPhone 5s, and 8% larger, to accommodate the bigger screen. Additionally, the smartphone in the video features a 10-megapixel camera -- the iPhone 5s features an 8-megapixel camera.

Bank of America customers will no longer have to go to their bank's ATMs to deposit checks. They can now do it from their iPhones or iPads. The company updated its iPhone app Wednesday to include the feature, which earlier this year it announced would arrive on its mobile devices. The feature was introduced to the iPad late last month. The new feature can be accessed by signing into your account through the app. Once signed in, you will see three new buttons near the top. During a 24-hour period last week, 293 new games were uploaded into the Apple App Store, of which 95 were copycats of Flappy Bird, according to The Guardian .
