Fendi Claims Trademark Infringement: Fendi, the high-fashion Italian clothier, sued a Los Angeles apparel firm on grounds that it is using Fendi's double F trademark as a monogram on its products. The suit filed in federal court seeks to stop Italian Classics Inc. from using the trademark, which features a second F that is reversed and upside down. (Filed Aug. 15, 1990. Case No. 90-4372.)
