Bechtel, PG&E Unit Form Company: PG&E Enterprises and Bechtel Enterprises Inc. agreed to form an electric energy company to develop, own and operate power projects outside the United States. In a news release, the San Francisco-based companies said the new firm will combine the international power activities of Bechtel and J. Makowski Co., an independent power company acquired by PG&E Enterprises and Bechtel last year.
