Jamie White's nearly nine-year run as a morning host at KYSR-FM (98.7) came to an end Wednesday with the announcement that the "Jamie, Jack and Stench" show would not be returning. In a news release, the station said that "Star 98.7 management decided that the show is not a long-term fit with the music-intensive, artist-driven direction that began last April...." White had been teamed with Jack Hine and Mike Roberts on the talk and interview show since mid-2005.

Jamie White, the more effusive half of the KYSR-FM (98.7) morning team of Jamie and Danny, was so nervous in front of the cameras in her small part as an MTV-esque reporter in the new Mark Wahlberg-Jennifer Aniston film, "Rock Star," that she took it upon herself to stop the action when she wasn't happy with her scene. "She was acting-challenged, if you know what I mean," says the film's producer, Toby Jaffe, laughing. "She got so embarrassed, she decided she was going to say 'cut."

Nobody would have guessed, least of all 14-year-old Jamie White. But as it turned out, her keen eye for casual fashion has brightened the lives of thousands of deprived American youngsters, and will, apparently, for years to come. She was with her father and a church group on a trip to Antigua in the West Indies in 1987 when she saw some simple cotton shirts and shorts fashioned from flour and sugar bags fluttering from a clothesline.

See, years before Cornett and Steines were a couple, White and Steines had, um, sexual relations.

It all comes down to exactly where former child actor and radio host Danny Bonaduce was drunk and stoned. In a slander lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Bonaduce accused former KYSR-FM (98.7) radio morning cohost Jamie White of defaming him by telling listeners he had been "higher than a kite" while on the air and had "no clue as to what is going on because he is so loaded." Bonaduce also claims that White, who still cohosts a morning show on 98.

You can't tell the morning radio voices without a scorecard after a recent rash of hirings, firings and moves that brought in new personalities and sent some familiar ones to new spots. Spinning the dial, it's perfectly understandable if it takes awhile to figure out just whom you're listening to.

KIIS-FM (102.7) announced today that "Boy Toy Jesse" Lozano, the station's weekend personality and afternoon drive host at KHTS in San Diego, will take over the afternoon-drive slot at KIIS, and longtime radio personality Sean Valentine will make the move to host mornings with veteran Lisa Foxx at sister station KYSR-FM (98.7). The shift follows the departure of Jamie White, whose nearly nine-year run as a morning host at KYSR ended Jan. 3.

Mesa State 65, Concordia 42--Taryn Commins scored 13 points and Priscilla Bendik added 10 for Concordia (3-3), but the Eagles could not overcome a 36-22 halftime deficit. Jamie White had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Mesa State (5-0). Danny Bonaduce, former co-host of the morning show on KYSR-FM (98.7), will return to local radio next month as a member of "The Adam Carolla Show" on KLSX-FM (97.1). He will replace Dave Damacheff on the year-old talk show as of Jan. 2. Bonaduce, a former child actor on "The Partridge Family," teamed with Jamie White at KYSR from 1999 to 2005.
