Jamir Miller and Bruce Walker were suspended indefinitely by the UCLA football team after they were arrested Thursday night for alleged possession of stolen property, the school announced. Miller, a junior outside linebacker from El Cerrito, Calif., and Walker, a senior defensive lineman from Dominguez High in Compton, were starters last season. The arrest was the second for each in the last three months.

The obvious mistake was probably dismissed as a technical malfunction when the update flashed on college scoreboards Saturday. Brigham Young down, 10-0, at halftime? At home? Impossible, unless someone kidnaped the first unit. Turned out UCLA kidnaped the first unit. Thumbing their noses at history, the Bruins somehow shut down production at America's quarterback factory.
