President Bush's 19-year-old daughter Jenna was fined $600 Friday and her driver's license was suspended for 30 days on charges of underage drinking and trying to use someone else's ID to buy liquor. Municipal Judge Karrie Key fined Bush $100 and ordered her to perform 36 hours of community service and attend a session in which victims of alcohol-related crimes discuss their experiences. If Bush completes the requirements and stays out of trouble for three months, the charge will be dropped.

Jenna Bush Hager and her husband Henry have made George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, grandparents. "Laura and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our grandchild, Margaret Laura 'Mila' Hager," the former president announced Sunday on Facebook . Little Mila, who was named after her grandmothers, was born at 8:43 p.m. Saturday in New York City, he said. She was 6 pounds, 15 ounces and a 19ΒΌ inches long, "Today" said after receiving an email from the new dad saying both of his girls were "healthy and well.

First Lady Laura Bush, a former teacher well known for her advocacy of books, is now writing one. Bush and her daughter Jenna are collaborating on a children's picture story, currently untitled, that will be published by HarperCollins in spring 2008. Financial terms weren't disclosed, but the authors' net proceeds will be donated to two education programs: Teach for America and the New Teacher Project. The book will be illustrated by Denise Brunkus, the illustrator for the popular Junie B.

Jenna Bush Hager, the former first daughter who's now a correspondent for the "Today" show, is expecting her first child with husband Henry. "I'm nervous and so excited to say that Henry and I are pregnant, or, I'm pregnant," the 31-year-old Hager said Thursday on "Today," later getting a little emotional when she started talking about her love of children. The younger of the twin Bush girls married Henry Hager in 2008 in a ceremony held on the family's ranch in Crawford, Texas.
