If we've learned one thing from "American Idol" this season, it's that Jennifer Lopez is a really nice person. Helen Mirren's bod is hotter than Jennifer Lopez's, according to a new poll. Yes, the sexagenarian (or should we say "sexygenarian"?) was voted as having the best female body by an L.A. Fitness poll of 2,000 people, according to Sky News . Soccer star David Beckham topped the male listings. With 17.65% of the vote, Mirren trounced J. Lo (6.6%) as well as Kate Winslet (3.9%) and Kate Middleton's younger sister Pippa (4%), whose figure gained fame during the wedding of Prince William and her older sister.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony wanted their upcoming talent show, "¡Q'Viva The Chosen!," to stand apart from an already cluttered slate of song and dance reality TV offerings. Instead of judging contestants from behind a panel, spinning around in oversized chairs or rejecting talent with a buzzer, Lopez and Anthony, along with choreographer/creative director Jamie King, traversed Latin America to handpick the talent for "Q'Viva," which premieres Saturday on Univision. The premise of the series has Lopez, Anthony and King vetting singers, dancers, musicians and artists for a Las Vegas spectacle.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's decision to split just days ago shocked fans and music pundits alike. With similar backgrounds and levels of success, theirs seemed like a Hollywood marriage that would last. But reports edging their way out in the aftermath have indicated that the Lopez-Anthony union was not as blissful as it may have seemed -- and that the success that the singer-actress has seen recently may have played a role in the separation. Did J.Lo's marriage fall victim to a variant of the "Oscar curse"?

Dancer-singer-actress Jennifer Lopez may have taken a tumble during a performance of her new single "Louboutins" at the American Music Awards last month, but she's on terra-firm where the sale of her French country villa is concerned. Update: An earlier version of this story showed a different sales price that appeared on the MLS Friday. The Bel-Air property she and her singer husband, Marc Anthony , had listed more than a year ago at $8.5 million closed escrow this week.

None of last week's new album releases scored enough Southern California sales to hit the local Top 10--the nation's biggest debut, by the 504 Boyz, ranked only No. 15 here. On the singles chart, Jennifer Lopez returns to the Top 10 with the splashy debut--both locally and nationally--of "Feelin' So Good."

Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez has been sued for fraud and breach of contract by an ex-husband, who claims she hired him to manage her restaurant just long enough to get it up and running, then fired him. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court earlier this week and made public Thursday, said the case was sparked by Lopez's "exploitation of the trust, love and loyalty" of her first husband, Ojani Noa.

The combination of a No. 1 movie and a new album was a match made in heaven for"The Wedding Planner" star Jennifer Lopez, whose sophomore album "J.Lo" finally dethroned the Beatles from the top spot on the nation's album chart. It's the season for comebacks. The L.A. Kings finally have returned to the NHL playoffs, Ford is expected to post a quarterly profit and Jennifer Lopez is back in the multiplex. For the first time in three years, the 40-year-old Lopez is anchoring a movie, and though the stakes aren't especially high — the singer-actress is starring in a $35-million romantic comedy, not some extravagant superhero franchise — there are any number of intriguing back stories behind "The Back-Up Plan," which looks to open to modest business, with a first weekend of about $11 million to $13 million predicted.

Kohl's Corp. is sponsoring a Spanish-language reality television show in an effort to raise the profile of its fashion collections from Jennifer Lopez and soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony. The show, "¡Q'viva! The Chosen," was the brainchild of "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller. In a kind of Spanish, nomadic version of that blockbuster reality show, judges Lopez, Anthony and choreographer Jamie King will travel to 21 countries in search of talented entertainers. As part of the sponsorship, Lopez and Anthony, along with some cast members, will be sporting pieces from their Kohl's collections on air, the retailer said.

Celebrity clothing brands have become a ubiquitous force in fashion, but this wasn't always the case. A decade ago, attaching a famous name to a mass-market brand was still fairly rare and was seen by some as a last alternative when movie scripts and TV offers slowed down. But now it's not only acceptable, it's almost expected. Some celebrities are serious about fashion, such as designer-actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, whose multiple lines include the Row and Elizabeth and James, and singer-actor Justin Timberlake, who has William Rast.

Before she could present Jane Fonda with the UCLA Longevity Center's Icon Award, Jennifer Lopez had to pause midway in her recitation of Fonda's lofty achievements — actress, fitness guru, author and activist for environmental, human rights, health, women's empowerment issues and more. "You're busy like crazy," Lopez said. "I thought I was busy. " No doubt. Lopez herself had just been introduced as an "actor, producer, recording artist, entrepreneur, fashion designer, wife, mother and humanitarian," as well as People magazine's "most beautiful woman in the world.

Clad in gold pants and a silver-fringed halter top, Jennifer Lopez slinked across the glaring "American Idol" stage recently, crooning the lyrics to her hit single "On the Floor" as millions of people tuned in at home. It's a stark contrast to two years ago, when Lopez fell on her backside during a performance at the American Music Awards. Lopez, 41, is back on top after going through a career recession that include a flop record, being dropped by her record label and making a movie, "The Back-Up Plan," that opened to bad reviews and middling box office.
