The “Twilight” film series vampire has sold his house in Los Feliz for $6.375 million to the star of “The Big Bang Theory.” The 1922 Spanish Colonial-style house has a formal entry, a library/study, a den, three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and 4,026 square feet of space in two stories. Sheldon Cooper might have wanted to celebrate an Emmy nomination with a Settlers of Catan tournament or a pilgrimage to the comic book shop, but actor Jim Parsons had a much simpler plan Thursday to enjoy his fourth nomination for lead actor in a comedy series for "The Big Bang Theory. " He said he plans to perform in "Harvey," the play he's starring in on Broadway. "I'll also celebrate with my new favorite drink, a green juice I'm addicted to at a juice bar near me," he said. "I know it sounds lame, but that's what I'm doing.

Emmy voters continued to smile upon their favorite lead comedy actors, returning four of last year's nominees -- Alec Baldwin ("30 Rock"), Louis C.K. ("Louie"), Jim Parsons ("The Big Bang Theory") and Don Cheadle ("House of Lies") -- and welcoming back "Arrested Development" star Jason Bateman and past nominee Matt LeBlanc ("Episodes"). Jon Cryer, who won the Emmy in the category last year for "Two and a Half Men," was left out of the race altogether this year. Baldwin's nomination is his seventh for playing Jack Donaghy, "30 Rock's" high-achieving network executive.

“Saturday Night Live” looked like a different show compared with the last live episode we saw a month ago, pre-Olympics. In the Feb. 1 episode, Andy Samberg, Amy Poehler, Bill Hader and Fred Armisen all visited the "Weekend Update" desk to say goodbye to their old friend Seth Meyers. In this weekend's episode, in which Colin Jost made his debut as "Update" co-host, one got the sense that this is a new generation on “SNL,” and that from now on it might be awhile before the audience sees cameos from the old guard, because the old guard has all definitively moved on. That's not a bad thing.

Robert Pattinson's rough-around-the edges image is slowly dissipating. And we can be grateful to luxury fashion brand Dior for that.
