When "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" had its West Coast premiere at the Laguna Playhouse last fall, I called it "one of the most clever, buoyant musical comedy revues about sex, love and dating in years."

About "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," the musical comedy revue at the Coronet Theatre: It's enjoyable. But I didn't love it. It isn't perfect. And it's not likely to change, for it has already been a success off-Broadway and twice at Laguna Playhouse. This staging is based on the second version seen in Laguna Beach. Director Joel Bishoff, Neil Peter Jampolis' urban, brick-wall set and three of the four cast members are back.

How cold was it in Green Bay on Friday? For Northern Michigan, very. Especially indoors. The Division II Wildcats didn't make a field goal in the first half, scored only three points in the first 20 minutes and lost to Wisconsin Green Bay, 46-21. The score at the half: Wisconsin Green Bay 14, Northern Michigan 3. Football, anyone? Northern Michigan (2-1) missed all 21 shots in the first half and made only seven of 50 (14%) for the game.

New coach, same old Blues. Mario Lemieux made it a miserable night for the St. Louis Blues' new regime, scoring three goals Thursday in the Pittsburgh Penguins' 4-0 victory at St. Louis. The Blues fired general manager/coach Mike Keenan and team president Jack Quinn earlier in the day. The moves had no initial effect as the Blues, under interim coach Jimmy Roberts, lost their fourth straight overall and franchise-record sixth in a row at home.
