Kelly Rowland's cute short bob came about when she fried her hair in a home coloring accident and sought out Beyonce's hairstylist, Neal Farinah, for help, Rowland tells People magazine. [People] Nick Cannon showed off his new -- and much talked about -- animal-print hairstyle on the "Live with Kelly and Michael" show on Tuesday. Attention, children of the '80s: Conan O'Brien and Johnny Galecki -- a.k.a. Rusty from "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" or David from "Roseanne" -- have teamed up to re-create one of the decade's finest cinematic achievements, "The Goonies. " As Galecki -- known to children of the '00s as Leonard from "The Big Bang Theory" -- told O'Brien on Wednesday night, "Conan" is filmed on the same Warner Bros. lot as Richard Donner's beloved adventure comedy film. He then asked O'Brien for a "personal favor": Would he join him in a reenactment of one of the movie's most memorable scenes?

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting learned it the hard way: Once you've dated Superman, you can never go back. At least as far as the paparazzi are concerned.  We're referring to the effects of "The Big Bang Theory" star's 10-day " relationship " last summer with Henry Cavill. "I had no one following me until I met Superman," Cuoco-Sweeting spills in the May issue of Cosmopolitan . "I've been in this business for 20 years, and my whole life, I could go anywhere, do anything. There had not been one paparazzi photo of me until like several months ago. The recognition was crazy.

Johnny Galecki isn't letting on if it's difficult being known as the nicest guy on what many consider to be the most volatile TV set in Hollywood. Galecki, 20, who plays David on ABC's long-running "Roseanne," is "just stupendous to work with ... no attitude," comments the show's executive producer, Eric Gilliland, who just can't say enough good things about the young actor. "He's just a good guy, not a Hollywood guy, not a smarty rat brat packer. And he's polite. Huh?

Johnny Galecki seeks to be average. The star of "The Big Bang Theory" is seated outside a small Hollywood restaurant, talking about his longing to play ordinary, run-of-the-mill figures rather than the larger-than-life characters that actors and audiences sometimes embrace. "Guys like Dustin Hoffman and Jack Lemmon have always been my leading men," said the 36-year-old, leather jacket-clad actor, who minutes before was crushing the butt of a luxury cigarette with his scuffed combat boot.

Here's an announcement written in the stars: CBS has renewed "The Big Bang Theory" for an additional three years, taking it into the 2016-2017 season. It's the second time the series has scored a three-season renewal. And one doesn't need to be a science nerd to understand how the power behind the comedy's ratings plays into its life extension. The Thursday series is TV's top-rated comedy among adults 18-49. The series, currently in its seventh season, is averaging a hefty 19.8 million viewers per week and a whopping 6.1 among the 18-49 demo.

We're sweeping through the high-profile categories one last time, looking today at the comedy races. COMEDY SERIES Surprise: Louis C.K. won Emmy nominations last year for writing, directing and acting, but somehow his wonderful FX show failed to land for series. "Curb Your Enthusiasm" didn't return this season, creating an opening that "Louie" should capably - and rightfully - fill.

"You're 'The Big Bang Theory?' You do realize you're in the wrong part of the building?" That's Griffith Observatory director E.C. Krupp, taking a stab at a little science humor as he escorts the cast of the CBS comedy juggernaut from the depths of the observatory's Leonard Nimoy Event Horizon theater up to the building's balcony. As puns go, it's inoffensive and the actors laugh good-naturedly, even if they've probably heard a variation of this joke - and a thousand other geek/comic book/science wisecracks - innumerable times over the years.
