A Los Angeles Municipal Court judge on Wednesday postponed until Sept. 9 a scheduled court appearance for television director Ivan Nagy, who was arrested early this month for suspected pandering. Nagy, the ex-boyfriend and sometime nemesis of accused madam-to-the-stars Heidi Fleiss, was taken into custody along with accused madam Julie Conatser for allegedly recruiting women into a high-priced call-girl ring. No formal charges have been filed, which Conatser's attorney said is "a positive sign."

Los Angeles County prosecutors declined on Thursday to file pandering charges against television and movie director Ivan Nagy, a former boyfriend of alleged Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss. Although the district attorney's office refused to say why charges were not being brought, Nagy's attorney insisted that there was no evidence to support allegations that his client was operating a pricey call-girl ring. Nagy "is not a panderer," lawyer Barry Levin told reporters.
