Justin Bieber's transition from cute tween pop star to adult heartthrob continues its rocky, oft-confusing, but wholly entertaining journey. His latest entry into “SMH” career moments is “Lolly,” the new single from R&B singer-hitmaker Maejor Ali (formerly Bei Maejor) that features cringe-worthy rap verses from Bieber and strip-club king Juicy J. The single was released earlier this year, and its video made its debut Tuesday. “Lolly” is a completely sturdy entry into R&B/hip-hop, a style that continues to be a staple on club dance floors and in strip clubs.

Watch out, Carly Rae Jepsen -- your would-be replacement has arrived. It was only a little over a year ago that Jepsen's smash hit " Call Me Maybe " was enjoying its reign atop various worldwide charts, an omnipresence that began after Justin Bieber heard the song on Canadian radio and tweeted his approval. Since then, however, pop culture has been tough on our Carly Rae, who's suffered through disappointing sales of her album "Kiss" -- wildly underrated, by the way -- and lost out on the Grammy Award for pop solo performance to a boring live track by Adele, of all things.

Ever wondered who first mentioned Justin Bieber on Twitter? Now you can find out. Social analytics firm Topsy announced it has indexed every public tweet that has ever been sent out and has made the information available to the public -- a feat no one else, including Twitter, has been able to accomplish. Topsy specializes in providing social data to companies, so it had already indexed many public tweets going back to July 2010. PHOTOS: Biggest tech flops of 2013 -- so far But Wednesday's update beefs up the company's indexing service with all public tweets going back to 2006, when Twitter launched and was actually called "twtter.

Justin Bieber was cited early Wednesday for allegedly running a stop sign and driving without a valid California license, officials said. It was the latest run-in with the law for the pop singer, who in recent months has been investigated for everything from allegedly spitting at a neighbor to allegedly driving recklessly down suburban residential streets. Bieber was stopped in Calabasas, where he lives. When questioned by a deputy, he acknowledged living in the state but could not produce a driver's license, said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Leif Garrett, an elder statesman of bubblegum-pop rockers, kinda-sorta had a few words for Justin Bieber in an interview published Monday. First off: Trust no one. Well, maybe not exactly that harsh, but pretty close. "Do not believe your own publicity," the 51-year-old former teen idol offered, when prompted, while talking to Fox 411 . "Sussing out who your real friends are is full-time work. Every scum bag, every drug dealer, every chicken hawk wants a piece of you. " We'd imagine " don't get caught with heroin in the subway " would be somewhere in there too, if Garrett were to look further down his own path, but comparing teen idol to teen idol, that's not quite relevant.

New photos of Justin Beiber have surfaced. Ahem, naked photos. Come again? The booty-baring (and slightly NSFW) pics were taken at his grandmother's house in Toronto last Thanksgiving. The uber cutie - well, that depends on who you ask - woke up from a holiday nap and had a brilliant idea. So brilliant in fact, he decided to test it on Grandma. He nuded up, grabbed his guitar, conveniently placed it where he needed to place it and serenaded away, giving those vocal cords quite the run. “I loooove you, Grandmaaaa, how are youuuu, hellooo, Grandma,” were his lyrics of choice.

The L.A. County district attorney's office declined Wednesday to file criminal charges against Justin Bieber for allegedly hitting a paparazzo with his Ferrari outside The Laugh Factory comedy club. Authorities investigated whether the singer knowingly left the scene of an accident after a run-in June 17 with a photographer outside the nightclub at 8001 Sunset Blvd. Prosecutors said Bieber pulled away from the curb through a "clear path" when paparazzo Damon Walter "suddenly stepped in front of" the vehicle.

Followers of celebrity gossip have seen a lot of Selena Gomez's driveway over the last few months. Located off a winding residential street in Tarzana, it's where paparazzi have snapped countless pictures of the former Disney Channel star and where her on-again/off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber, was photographed one night after a reported argument between the two tween idols at a restaurant in Encino. Arriving home first, Gomez apparently locked the gate in the driveway, leading to a widely circulated image with this immortal TMZ caption: "Biebs Denied.

Johnny Manziel has been under intense scrutiny ever since becoming the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy last year. Every word, tweet, movement has been discussed, analyzed and, more often than not, criticized, sometimes justifiably. Remind you of a certain pop star of around the same age that also often seems to be doing the wrong thing in the eyes of the media? "I guess I feel like Justin Bieber or something," Manziel said in an appearance on ESPN at SEC media day. "I never thought it would really be that way. " In that interview as well as a news conference in front of hundreds of reporters, the Texas A&M quarterback got the chance to tell his side of some of the off-season stories surrounding him, including why he left the Manning family football camp early last weekend.
