What did Justin Bieber's team decide during that huddle they just had in Panama? Perhaps it was to get Bieber's legal life in order: The pop star on Wednesday afternoon turned himself in to Toronto police in response to an assault charge stemming from a Dec. 29 incident involving a limo driver -- that via the Associated Press. The 19-year-old Canadian made his way into the police station through a crazy mob of media and screaming fans, Toronto's CP24 reported. The mad crush can be seen on video from TMZ , which cited sources who said the Biebs would be booked, cited and released on his own recognizance.

He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation's youth.

Could Justin Bieber be pulling out the moving boxes and leaving Calabasas behind him like a rotten egg? Maybe. Maybe not. Celebrity-dish sites are citing unnamed sources, so take it with a grain of salt. With the trouble the 19-year-old pop star has seen in the quiet, upper-class community northwest of Los Angeles, it would be odd if moving didn't cross his mind a time or two. It may have crossed the minds of others too. The L.A. Times contacted Calabasas Mayor Fred Gaines on Tuesday.

Prosecutors have asked for further investigation into accusations that pop star Justin Bieber egged his neighbor's house in Calabasas, causing $20,000 in damage, a spokeswoman for the L.A. County district attorney's office said Tuesday. Authorities have been investigating allegations Bieber threw eggs at his neighbor's home in the 25000 block of Prado del Grandioso, causing the damage, this month.  Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the district attorney's office, said the request for more investigation came during an informal review of the case thus far. Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators searched Bieber's home Jan. 15 in response to the allegations, during which eight people, including the singer, were detained.

Jude Law, testifying in the News of the World phone-hacking trial Monday in London, was surprised to learn that a close relative had gotten cash to pass along information about him to the tabloid. "I didn't know anyone around me was talking to the newspapers," said the 41-year-old actor, according to the Associated Press. At the time, in 2005, the tabloid was printing stories about Law's then-girlfriend, Sienna Miller, having a romantic relationship with actor Daniel Craig. Law was handed a note with the relative's name written on it, Reuters reported, and was asked when he'd first heard about such a sale of information.

Wondering where the grown-ups are in Justin Bieber's life? Well, his dad was with him Thursday, but in the wake of the singer's arrest on suspicion of DUI, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license in Miami, manager Scooter Braun has briefly commented.
