Justin Blackmon is scheduled to go before a judge Monday afternoon after being arrested on an aggravated DUI charge early Sunday morning in Oklahoma, according to the Payne County sheriff's department. A Breathalyzer test showed the first-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in April's draft had a blood alcohol level of .24 -- three times the legal limit -- at the time of his arrest, authorities say. A driver in Oklahoma can be charged with aggravated DUI after blowing a .15 or greater.

An MRI test on Friday confirmed that Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, leaving the AFC North leaders without another star player on defense. The All-Pro lineman got the leg bent under him while trying to make a tackle during the first half of a 22-20 overtime loss at Miami on Thursday night. The medical staff initially thought he'd torn the ligament, and the test a day later in Cincinnati confirmed it. The Bengals (6-3)

The Jacksonville Jaguars haven't been much to look at on the football field of late, but, thanks to a Nike uniform makeover, at least they'll stand out.   The Jaguars' new duds feature a sharp, angular font on jet-black jerseys with teal accents and gold trim, with a new trait unlike any other NFL team: a two-tone helmet that fades from black to gold. Jacksonville also has white- and teal-based versions of the uniform with alternating colors. In a nod to the city of Jacksonville's multiple military bases, the Jaguars' new uniforms also have a military-style patch over the heart.

Coach Tom Coughlin signed a two-year contract extension through the 2014 season on Wednesday with the New York Giants. The 65-year-old Coughlin, who led the team to its second Super Bowl victory under him in February, has coached the Giants since 2004. His contract was in its final year. "It has always been my belief that it is an honor and a privilege to be the head coach of the New York Giants," Coughlin said. "I'm thankful to [co-owners] John Mara and Steve Tisch and their families for their support and the recognition of what our players and coaches have accomplished.

Oklahoma State will contend again for the national title, just not in 2012. The Cowboys missed the last national title game by 86 thousandths of a point in the final Bowl Championship Series standings. That's right, Oklahoma State was 86'd. We're not here to regurgitate the debate of whether Oklahoma State deserved to play Louisiana State instead of Alabama. Let Bayou-gones be Bayou-gones. Why take this any farther down the field than LSU did in the title game against Alabama?

How 'bout them Cowboys?! No, not the NFL kind from Dallas. We're talking about the Big 12 Conference kind from Stillwater, Okla. The Oklahoma State Cowboys, ranked sixth, ran their road winning streak to nine and ended Missouri's home winning streak at 10 with a 45-24 win at Columbia, Mo. on Saturday. These Cowboys are 7-0 for only the third time in school history, 4-0 in the Big 12 Conference, and on track for one of the most bedlam in all its Bedlam rivalry games with No. 3 Oklahoma.

Just another ho-hum NFL Sunday. Houston beat Jacksonville. Atlanta beat Arizona. Dallas beat Cleveland. What else would you expect from three home teams favored by a combined 33 points? Now, please excuse those winning teams as they strap on oxygen masks and practice some deep-breathing exercises. They all came a little closer to losing than anyone anticipated. The Texans and Cowboys squeaked by in overtime. The Falcons overcame five Matt Ryan interceptions, and played from behind for 31/2 quarters before edging the woeful Cardinals, 23-19.

No. 5 Jacksonville Jaguars: WR Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State - - Blackmon won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top college receiver the past two seasons. The only other multiple winner is former Texas receiver Michael Crabtree, now with the 49ers. Blackmon, the only receiver to be named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, holds the NCAA records for most consecutive games gaining 100-plus yards receiving, and most games gaining 200-plus yards receiving. Comment: The Jaguars haven't had a 1,000-yard receiver since Jimmy Smith.

NEW YORK -- The Cleveland Browns have made the first trade of the NFL draft, swapping positions with Minnesota at the top of the first round. The Browns will pick third, presumably to take Alabama running back Trent Richardson, and the Vikings have moved back one spot to fourth. Minnesota collected picks in the fourth, fifth and seventh rounds. Minnesota can still pick up USC tackle Matt Kalil at No. 4, or possibly LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne. The Browns likely made the move so Tampa Bay, which picks fifth, could leapfrog them for Richardson.
