Kanye West's elaborate Yeezus tour is coming to theaters. After wrapping the North American leg of the tour earlier this week, West quietly debuted a trailer for the film on his official website . The clip featured a quick flurry of shots from the production, dramatic scenes such as horses running in snow and West in his many masks. A recent interview with Vice author Bret Easton Ellis ("Less Than Zero," “American Physco”) revealed he was collaborating with West on a film project after the rapper enlisted him to reimagine a scene from "American Psycho" for a promotional clip for "Yeezus.

Kanye West's new album “Yeezus” has picked up a lot of plaudits in the usual pop music critic circles, and now it's collecting support from some impressive, not-so-usual sources, among them punk godfather Lou Reed and filmmaker David Lynch. Reed has reviewed the album for the Talkhouse musician website, saying in a generally enthusiastic assessment, “No one's near doing what he's doing, it's not even on the same planet.” And this week, Lynch -- who has a new album of his own coming later this month -- says he's enamored of the track “Blood on the Leaves” from “Yeezus,” which entered the Billboard album chart at No. 1 last week.

Kim Kardashian is splashing back at claims that she and Kanye West could be taking their relationship to the next level. At a Saturday Halloween bash in New York City, Kardashian rocked a sexy mermaid look with West on her arm, hitting a red carpet in the name of her Midori liqueur endorsement and apparently rumor patrolling.  The whisper in question came from Ryan Seacrest, the radio host and TV personality who serves as executive producer for...

Kanye West might have plenty of sweet nothings he wants to whisper in Kim Kardashian's ear, but the name Beyonce isn't one of them. Since the two individually overexposed figures combined forces as a maybe-couple about two weeks ago, media outlets have run wild trying to flesh out everything from shopping sprees to romantic dinners to jaunts to Paris.  But one particular claim, that West was calling Kardashian "his Beyonce," according to...

Kanye West has a resume that is nothing if not diverse, including chart-topping musician, fashion designer, tabloid staple, music-video director and cultural firebrand. He has claimed to be creative director on an upcoming "Jetsons" movie and, in a recent interview promoting his album "Yeezus," he declared that his wide-ranging cultural interests have "only led me to awesome truth and awesomeness. Beauty, truth, awesomeness. " In a pair of messages posted to his Twitter account Wednesday night, West added film critic to that resume when he stated, "I saw a pre-screening of Pacific Rim yesterday and it's easily one of my favorite movies of all time" and "This is not another 'Robot' movie.

Kanye West caught plenty of flak last month when he premiered the (pretty fascinating!) music video for his song "Bound 2. " In the unlikely event that you don't remember, it's the borderline-NSFW clip in which West and his fiancee, Kim Kardashian, ride a motorcycle through a rather crudely digitized landscape resembling the American West. Now "Bound 2" is attracting a different kind of heat: the legal kind. PHOTOS: Best albums of 2013 According to Rolling Stone , Ricky Spicer of the '70s soul group the Ponderosa Twins Plus One -- whose song " Bound " provides the indelible vocal hook in West's track -- filed suit Monday in New York, alleging that the rapper used Spicer's voice without permission.

As sure as the sun rises in the east, a chopped-and-screwed version of Kanye West's new album “Yeezus” was inevitable, and DJ AudiTory can lay claim to the first best version.  As happens these days with most pop and hip-hop album of note, soon after its Tuesday release, slowed-down, extended edits of all 10 songs on “Yeezus” started appearing online. The remixes, created by both pros and bedroom DJs looking to tap into a syrupy, Houston-born style, have become the modern-day version of reggae “dub plates.” The best of them explore, and reveal, the nooks and crannies of a recording in ways that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged after an elaborate proposal by the rapper that involved renting out a baseball stadium and hiring a 50-piece orchestra. On her 33rd birthday, no less. "YES!!!" Kardashian tweeted Tuesday morning along with a photo of her 15-carat diamond ring, with the scoreboard in the background reading, "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" West popped the question - reportedly down on one knee - Monday night in San Francisco, where according to E! News he'd acquired use of AT&T Park for the evening.
