Kanye West's official video for “Black Skinhead” is finally out. West posted a link to the completed video for the single (stylized as "BLKKK SKKKN HEAD") on his website Monday morning. A rough cut of the clip, the first visual from his polarizing album “Yeezus,” leaked online earlier this month, igniting a furor of tweets from the rapper. “Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it's heartbreaking when something like this happens,” he fired off . “Allow me and Nick to give the world what we've been losing sleep over.” RELATED: Kanye West tangles with another paparazzo In the black-and-white clip, a CGI-version of a very buff and shirtless West dances and raps in the dark using some coarse language as well as haunting images, including some rather ferocious Dobermans and Ku Klux Klan-inspired visuals.

Kanye West took to Twitter on Thursday morning for a major announcement: " June Eighteen . " And that's it -- no context, no explanation, no additional clues as to what that date might bring. Is it the release date for his new album, which Pop & Hiss reported Tuesday has been completed ? The disc's first single? Perhaps it's the due date for West and Kim Kardashian's baby. Or a wedding date. Whatever the case, West isn't elaborating (yet). IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Remembering Kriss Kross' Chris Kelly As the hip-hop pundit Elliott Wilson tweeted early Thursday, "Ambiguity is the new press release.

Sharon Osbourne has decided Kanye West is not only not a god -- he's not even that talented. "He's an average-looking guy with an average talent," the co-host of CBS' "The Talk" said on Thursday's show. Mrs. O's dig was part of a "Talk" backlash against the rapper, who has been even more boastful than usual while promoting his new album "Yeezus. " In one interview, West -- who just had a baby named North with Kim Kardashian -- called himself the "No. 1 living and breathing rock star" and compared himself favorably with Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison.

Just when it seemed as though Tyler, the Creator was concluding a typically frenetic set during Odd Future's second annual Camp Flog Gnaw carnival, the rapper, producer, designer, director and merchandise king let on that a friend had arrived to perform a few songs. Tyler, who co-founded Odd Future, has many friends, but few in the crowd expected what came next. Tyler introduced Kanye West, an impressively kept secret, and the crowd in the park outside Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum bellowed with baffled joy. West, who recently had to postpone his own tour due to tech issues, waltzed out to a hero's welcome in his adopted town, and for two songs confirmed for the youth both his power and influence.

One of the most striking metaphors for the tension within “Yeezus,” the new album from rapper Kanye West, arrives nearly 25 minutes in during a song called “I'm in It.” It involves a Martin Luther King Jr. quote. “Thank God almighty, free at last” raps West. The line is notable for what it's not: a charged reference to black freedom. Rather, those that are “free at last” aren't enslaved humans but a woman's breasts, released from the bondage of a bra during a bathroom tryst.

As sure as the sun rises in the east, a chopped-and-screwed version of Kanye West's new album “Yeezus” was inevitable, and DJ AudiTory can lay claim to the first best version. As happens these days with most pop and hip-hop album of note, soon after its Tuesday release, slowed-down, extended edits of all 10 songs on “Yeezus” started appearing online. The remixes, created by both pros and bedroom DJs looking to tap into a syrupy, Houston-born style, have become the modern-day version of reggae “dub plates.” The best of them explore, and reveal, the nooks and crannies of a recording in ways that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Kim Kardashian is splashing back at claims that she and Kanye West could be taking their relationship to the next level. At a Saturday Halloween bash in New York City, Kardashian rocked a sexy mermaid look with West on her arm, hitting a red carpet in the name of her Midori liqueur endorsement and apparently rumor patrolling. The whisper in question came from Ryan Seacrest, the radio host and TV personality who serves as executive producer for...

Kanye West has a resume that is nothing if not diverse, including chart-topping musician, fashion designer, tabloid staple, music-video director and cultural firebrand. He has claimed to be creative director on an upcoming "Jetsons" movie and, in a recent interview promoting his album "Yeezus," he declared that his wide-ranging cultural interests have "only led me to awesome truth and awesomeness. Beauty, truth, awesomeness. " In a pair of messages posted to his Twitter account Wednesday night, West added film critic to that resume when he stated, "I saw a pre-screening of Pacific Rim yesterday and it's easily one of my favorite movies of all time" and "This is not another 'Robot' movie.

Kanye West may be a fashion maven, but he doesn't have much love for a "Suit & Tie. " At his Friday London gig at the Hammersmith Apollo, West took about 10 minutes out of his set to tear into Justin Timberlake's new single, the Grammys and corporate sponsorship of pop music. It's classic Ye: making enemies of powerful figures , lambasting institutions that fail to recognize his genius, and a continued wrinkle in his complicated relationship with music and commerce. The "Suit & Tie" jab might be most surprising, as the song prominently features his longtime collaborator and "Watch the Throne"-mate Jay Z. "I got love for Hov, but I ain't ... with that 'Suit & Tie'," West said.
