Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly wanted to name their baby North. As in North West. Besides being ridiculous, this makes us wonder, if West had additional kids, would he name them based on all the directions of the compass? South, East and West West? Probably not. Sources close to the reality star have shut down the "North" rumors, first reported by the Sun, which said the rapper, 35, thought it sounded good with his last name. However, omg! Yahoo reports that the couple will not be naming their child North.

Attorney Gloria Allred filed a lawsuit against Kanye West on behalf of a photographer who was allegedly assaulted by the rapper and blasted celebrities who defend the singer's conduct. In the lawsuit, video photographer Danny Ramos alleges assault, battery, negligence and violation of civil rights. Ramos and Allred said they were speaking out because West had still not apologized for his behavior, and because other celebrities had spoken out in support of West's actions -- which would seem to encourage others to harm members of the paparazzi.

"I'm doing 500 / I'm out of control now," Kanye West growled halfway through "Black Skinhead," one of two new songs the rap superstar performed on "Saturday Night Live. " Here's the thing, though: For all the righteous fury he summoned in "Black Skinhead" -- which appears to have been inspired in part by reactions to his relationship with Kim Kardashian -- West never sounded out of control Saturday. His performance was a thrilling master class in applied energy, a focused beam of intensity aimed directly at a "Middle America packed in ... to see me in my black skin," as he put it in lyrics he posted to Twitter following the show.
