LeBron James was officially crowned sports royalty Tuesday night, as the Miami Heat were presented championship rings ahead of the new season's first game. LeBron has always been a franchise player but now has the hardware to match -- and who better to discuss his elevated brand than Kim Kardashian? Mini-mogul Kim attended an after-party to celebrate the Heat's ring presentation at Miami's Soho House, where LeBron toasted his moment with close pals and Samsung (James debuted in a national ad spot for the Galaxy Note II, also on Tuesday)

Kim Kardashian is splashing back at claims that she and Kanye West could be taking their relationship to the next level. At a Saturday Halloween bash in New York City, Kardashian rocked a sexy mermaid look with West on her arm, hitting a red carpet in the name of her Midori liqueur endorsement and apparently rumor patrolling. The whisper in question came from Ryan Seacrest, the radio host and TV personality who serves as executive producer for...

Music star and fashion design aspirant Kanye West reportedly will not show a collection during Paris Fashion Week because his last two offerings were not well-received by critics. [WWD] When Allison Williams of HBO's "Girls" strolled the Emmy's red carpet in an emerald Oscar de la Renta on Sunday, it was the culmination of a year of preparation, with stylist Christina Ehrlich, for her big-time fashion debut. [WWD] Sophia Vergara wore a slinky Zuhair Murad dress on the Emmys' red carpet, but she suffered a wardrobe malfunction when the zipper burst, leaving more of her backside exposed than expected.

"Cruel Summer," the new compilation from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint, sets an intense mood from the start. Were this a novel, fellow Chicagoan R. Kelly's sweet voice would introduce the first chapter: "Let me see you put your middle fingers up to the world," he says to his flock on "To the World" and you can almost taste the impending venom. The first word out of Kanye West's mouth is more direct: a 12-letter vulgarity, and from that invective springs a series of verses that over 12 tracks travels the world with some attention given to his hometown of Chicago What's up in Chicago?

This post has been corrected. See below for details. “Cruel Summer,” the new compilation from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint, sets an intense mood from the start. Were this a novel, R. Kelly's sweet voice would be in the first scene: “Let me see you put your middle fingers up to the world,” he says to his flock on "To the World," and you can almost feel the collective venom. The first word out of Kanye West's mouth is more direct: a 12-letter vulgarity. The sweetest Kelly line in the song is, and I'm paraphrasing, “I'm burnin' stuff up tonight.” Chicago is apparently burning. An hourlong presentation of West's musical line, “Cruel Summer” is a sonic runway show (West describes it as “a ghetto opera”)

The most profitable man in hip-hop hasn't released a solo album since 1999. But as anyone who follows the record business knows today, the real racket is in corporate partnerships and investments, and that's what vaulted the producer Dr. Dre to the top of Forbes' hip-hop earners list . Dre hauled in $110 million before taxes in 2011, the vast majority of it coming from a $300-million investment in his Beats by Dre company by the telephone-tech company...

You never know what a crafty process server might come up with. Kim Kardashian learned that when a man dropped off a box from Nordstrom. Inside was a summons for boyfriend Kanye West to give a deposition in the Kardashian-Kris Humphries divorce case -- the summons being from the Humphries side, of course. [New York Daily News] Fashion designer Georgina Chapman is one of five people selected by Canon USA Inc. and director Ron Howard to direct short films based on photographs submitted by the public.

Kim Kardashian has said numerous times that she and boyfriend Kanye West are taking things slowly, but is it ever too soon to start thinking about forever? Despite last year's implosion of her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries and West's general unpredictability, it appears Kardashian has already exchanged "I love you's" with the rapper and is thinking ahead to their old age. Gracing the cover of New York magazine's fall fashion issue, Kardashian invited readers on a ride-along of a recent day in New York City, where she's been sharing West's SoHo condominium.

OK, we can admit it, we've picked up a strange obsession with the whirlwind romance of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Maybe it's the matching outfits, the songs, the constant paparazzi shots of their jetsetting, or maybe it's just the anticipation of an over-the-top wedding (televised in a two-part series on E!, of course), divorce and resulting breakup album full of epic beats and pining lyrics courtesy of Ye -- too soon? The cute pair got even cuter -- and matchy-matchy, of course -- in a promo for the upcoming Video Music Awards.
