Santa Ana's football team dominated the postseason awards, just as it did the Central Division of the Mission Conference. Dave Ogas won coach of the year, Tramel Robinson was offensive player of the year and Kody Miller was defense player of the year for the Dons (7-3), who finished 6-0 in the division. Robinson, from Foothill High, rushed for 1,148 yards and scored 15 touchdowns. Miller is a defensive back from Canyon High. The picks were made by the Central Division coaches.
