There's still sex to be had in the city, even though Carrie Bradshaw has settled down with one man. New Line Cinema spokeswoman Candice McDonough confirms that "Sex and the City" stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and writer-director Michael Patrick King are signed for a sequel to last year's hit movie. New Line parent Warner Bros. plans to have the sequel out in summer 2010.

NEW YORK -- Kim Cattrall found many reasons to seize the role of Carrie Kipling, wife of British literary superstar Rudyard Kipling, in the film "My Boy Jack." The project, airing on PBS' "Masterpiece Classic" at 9 p.m. Sunday, had instant appeal: Cattrall is a lifelong Kipling fan. "He wrote a poem that I loved as a kid called 'The Way Through the Woods,' " says the actress, 51. "I read 'The Jungle Book,' and my dad bought me 'Kim,' 'cause it was called 'Kim.'

Japanese carmaker Nissan said Friday that it has pulled a raunchy commercial starring "Sex and the City" actress Kim Cattrall from New Zealand television after complaints over its content. Cattrall, who played the sex-obsessed, promiscuous Samantha Jones in the HBO series, appears in the ad purring with excitement about a new sedan. "Why didn't you tell me it was so big? I just wasn't prepared for it," she gushes. "The all-new Nissan Tiida makes you feel really, really, really good inside."

Kim Cattrall said she didn't want to wait any longer for more "Sex and the City," so that means costars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis won't be getting any either. At least for a while. HBO representatives said Cattrall's refusal led the cable channel to drop the idea of a feature film based on the popular series, which ended its six-season run this year.

When Kim Cattrall was approached to play a Vulcan lieutenant opposite the redoubtable Mr. Spock in "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country," she demurred, for a trio of reasons. The last one wasn't so hot, she wasn't exactly sure what this one was all about and sequels weren't her bag. Cattrall pulled a U-turn when she learned that Nicholas Meyer, who directed the second and arguably the best Trek flick, would be navigating the Enterprise on its final voyage.

"I knew I was going to get the part," Kim Cattrall states matter-of-factly. "I felt it." Cattrall, known for her saucy, sexy roles in "Porky's" and "Mannequin," goes against type in "The Bonfire of the Vanities," Warner Bros.' version of Tom Wolfe's best-seller. In the film, which stars Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis and Melanie Griffith, Cattrall plays Judy, the whippet-thin, middle-age socialite wife of successful New York bond trader Sherman McCoy (Hanks).
