The judge in the Randy Steven Kraft murder trial lost patience with prosecutors for a short time Wednesday when they began to parade before jurors the first batch of contents taken from Kraft's car after his 1983 arrest. Superior Court Judge Donald A. McCartin called most of it "a pile of garbage" and warned that he would not tolerate such an inventory of minutiae once prosecutors began to present evidence gathered from three separate searches of Kraft's Long Beach residence.
