Sylvester Stallone has listed a lakefront retreat in Thousand Oaks for $4,495,000. Set on about 1.75-acres on Lake Sherwood, the property has more than 500 feet of waterfront. The 3,600-square-foot main house, built in 1946, has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Additional structures include a boat house, guest quarters and caretaker's quarters. Stallone, 64, starred as boxer Rocky Balboa in the "Rocky" movies starting in 1976 and John Rambo in the series that started with "First Blood" (1982)

Actress and real estate agent Dana Sparks has listed her Lake Sherwood contemporary at $2,555,000. The two-story house, built in 1960, has large windows taking in the lake, sunset and mountain views. Its 3,280 square feet of living space include a family room with a fireplace and bar, a den, four bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. The lake-front home has a stone patio along the shoreline that is Sparks' favorite spot. "That is, when I'm not in the water," she said. "We entertain a lot here.

Tennis great Pete Sampras and his wife, actress Bridgette Wilson-Sampras, have listed their newly built compound in Lake Sherwood for $25 million. The gated contemporary sits on 20 hilltop acres with 360-degree views, a north-south tennis court and a swimming pool. The more than 13,000-square-foot main house has a theater and a game room. Including the 1,200-square-foot guesthouse and the 2,000-square-foot detached gym, the property has seven bedrooms and 11 1/2 bathrooms.

Re: "China OKs a Disney theme park," Nov. 4: How does Disney justify building a Disneyland in China? The company is well aware of China's wanton disregard for intellectual property. China is the largest producer of pirated DVDs and counterfeit trademarked merchandise. Slow and steady leads the race -- at least through two rounds and especially when the golf course is soggy. Jim Furyk shot an uneventful one-under-par 71 Friday to keep the lead after two rounds of the Chevron World Challenge, while Camilo Villegas, K.J. Choi and Anthony Kim moved into contention with decidedly more drama. They finished two shots behind Furyk's two-day total of five-under 139 at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks.
