As ambitious glee clubber and social pariah Rachel Berry, Lea Michele has been called RuPaul, taken more than a few fruit slushies to the face in the hallways of McKinley High and tried romancing her teacher by singing "Endless Love." The leap into the land of awkward adolescence has been a big one for Michele, the 23-year-old stage actress whose Broadway résumé is all serious drama -- she's been in the sexually charged "Spring Awakening" and the tear-jerker " Les Misérables." To get into Rachel's high-strung head, she dutifully studied Reese Witherspoon in "Election" -- "I channel Tracy Flick, yes," Michele said -- but it sounds like all she really needed to do was dig deep into her own aspiring performer days.

Lea Michele, who was photographed over the weekend possibly "hiding a baby bump," has one thing to say about that.  She's hit the big time now. "My first fake pregnancy rumor! I've finally made it!" the "Glee" actress tweeted happily on Monday while her rep went on the record with outlets such as RumorFix to dub the alleged news "completely false. "  PHOTOS: The Hollywood baby boom Photos of Michele wearing loose-fitting clothes and carrying a big handbag - perfect for shielding the "bump" from prying eyes and telephoto lenses, don't ya know - were all it took to get the rumor mill cranked up. Good thing it was bogus, as a real-life baby would've put a crimp in writers' plans as Michele's Rachel Berry pursues her Broadway-baby aspirations on the Fox show.

Happy Accidents A Memoir Jane Lynch Hyperion/Voice: 304 pp., $25.99 -- Way back in the mists of time, when Lea Michele was a name known only to theater geeks and "Don't Stop Believin' " still belonged to "The Sopranos," the thing that excited most critics, and many fans, about this new show "Glee" was not so much jazz hands as Jane. Jane Lynch, the hilarious performer whose appearances on shows as diverse as "Two and a Half Men" and "The L Word," in the films of Christopher Guest and Judd Apatow, were always stellar if all too brief.
