Touching another person's head is never a good idea, especially after that person just lost a contest that ended a 27-game win streak. One fan at Chicago's United Center clearly did not get that memo. As the Miami Heat's LeBron James walked into a tunnel toward the dressing rooms after the game against the Bulls, a fan in the stands reached down and attempted to snatch James' headband from him. James, a 6-foot-8, 250-pound forward, was not feeling the surprise assault on his head, and did a turn to stare down the fan for a few moments.

Some high school basketball fans in Northern California apparently thought that it would be funny to emulate LeBron James' former pregame ritual of tossing chalk into the air. Little did they know that their stunt might have cost their team the game. Before a game against rival Roseville High, Woodcreek fans who call themselves the "Black Mob" tossed baby powder into the air, replicating the reigning MVP's previous tradition. The prank backfired. The cloud of powder was so intense that the game was delayed to mop the court.

LeBron James may be finding out that while it's good to be king, bragging about the perks you receive might not be the best idea. The Miami Heat superstar posted a video on Instagram from inside a car following a police escort on the wrong side of the road to Sun Life Stadium for Friday night's Justin Timberlake/Jay Z concert. He also tweeted a link to the video along with some comments that made him look a bit like a clueless celebrity loving his privileged life: They treat us so well!

Note to Miami Heat fans who are paying hundreds of dollars to see superstar LeBron James in action: Check out the bike lane for free. James, who is making $17.5 million this season, apparently enjoys riding a bike to games. Yes, you read that right. The man who can afford any car in the world prefers to sit on a teeny tiny seat and pedal himself around. James has pedaled from his Coconut Grove home to AmericanAirlines Arena three times this season, according to the Sun Sentinel . It typically takes him about 30 to 45 minutes by bike depending on how hard he's going.

After LeBron James hit a game-winning shot Wednesday to lead his Miami Heat past the Golden State Warriors, Warriors guard Mark Jackson was effusive in his praise of James, saying he will go down as one of the greatest ever. Earlier in the week, James commented that if they ever make a Mt. Rushmore for the NBA, he would be on it. James put Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson on there, and when asked if he would be there when his career is over, he told NBA TV's Steve Smith, "Yeah.

LeBron James of the Miami Heat was named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year on Monday, and James said he takes it as a sign that all has been forgiven for his messy departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2010. "I remember just like yesterday when I signed here and basically, like the roof caved in,” James told the Associated Press, referring to the fallout from his infamous "Decision" to leave Cleveland for Miami in 2010. "To see that I and my team and everyone around me was able to patch that roof up, to come to this point, to come to this point and receive such a prestigious award, it's huge.
