LeBron James may be finding out that while it's good to be king, bragging about the perks you receive might not be the best idea. The Miami Heat superstar posted a video on Instagram from inside a car following a police escort on the wrong side of the road to Sun Life Stadium for Friday night's Justin Timberlake/Jay Z concert. He also tweeted a link to the video along with some comments that made him look a bit like a clueless celebrity loving his privileged life: They treat us so well!

Basketball forums across the Web are constantly filled with a question that can never be answered: Who is the best basketball player of all time? Looks as though fans aren't the only ones wondering. The wallpaper on Lebron James' cellphone apparently is a digitally created photo of himself standing in triple-threat position as Michael Jordan, in his prime, guards him. "Jordan was my superhero growing up," James told Sports Illustrated. "He was the guy I feel helped me get to where I am today.

Touching another person's head is never a good idea, especially after that person just lost a contest that ended a 27-game win streak. One fan at Chicago's United Center clearly did not get that memo. As the Miami Heat's LeBron James walked into a tunnel toward the dressing rooms after the game against the Bulls, a fan in the stands reached down and attempted to snatch James' headband from him. James, a 6-foot-8, 250-pound forward, was not feeling the surprise assault on his head, and did a turn to stare down the fan for a few moments.

Some high school basketball fans in Northern California apparently thought that it would be funny to emulate LeBron James' former pregame ritual of tossing chalk into the air. Little did they know that their stunt might have cost their team the game. Before a game against rival Roseville High, Woodcreek fans who call themselves the "Black Mob" tossed baby powder into the air, replicating the reigning MVP's previous tradition. The prank backfired. The cloud of powder was so intense that the game was delayed to mop the court.

LeBron James, who has won the MVP award the last two seasons, thinks the honor should go to Kevin Durant this year. “I would say he's the most consistent basketball player as far as the MVP this year, man,” James said Wednesday, via ESPN.com's Miami Heat Index . “He's put up some great numbers.” Durant is averaging 32 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists a game for the Thunder, which is in second place in the Western Conference with...

LeBron James thinks pretty highly of himself, and why not? He's arguably the best all-around player in the NBA these days. So it makes sense that at least one of James' teammates would find it necessary to cultivate the NBA star's superstar status by donning the protective mask James has worn in recent games to protect his broken nose. Miami Heat teammate Chris Bosh posted a photo of himself wearing James' mask and a towel cape to Instagram on Thursday alongside the caption, "I'm BATMAN !

In California, Kobe is king. But in the favorite-athlete game of thrones, Bryant is a puny ruler. Best Tickets laid out the most popular athletes by state, based on Google search data, and found that LeBron James of the Miami Heat was the most searched in fully half of the 50 states. There's a steep drop-off to No. 2: Peyton Manning. The Denver Broncos quarterback was most searched in seven states.  Third is a tie between the Minnesota Vikings' Adrian Peterson and New England Patriots QB Tom Brady.

Not content with two straight NBA championships. LeBron James is spreading his very expansive wings into the world of television. The Miami Heat forward is teaming up with writer/actor Mike O'Malley, business partner Maverick Carter and Tom Werner, the veteran producer of classic comedies "Roseanne" and "The Cosby Show," to develop a sitcom for the premium cable channel Starz.  "Survivor's Remorse" is to follow two successful young men from...

Note to Miami Heat fans who are paying hundreds of dollars to see superstar LeBron James in action: Check out the bike lane for free. James, who is making $17.5 million this season, apparently enjoys riding a bike to games. Yes, you read that right. The man who can afford any car in the world prefers to sit on a teeny tiny seat and pedal himself around. James has pedaled from his Coconut Grove home to AmericanAirlines Arena three times this season, according to the Sun Sentinel . It typically takes him about 30 to 45 minutes by bike depending on how hard he's going.

After LeBron James hit a game-winning shot Wednesday to lead his Miami Heat past the Golden State Warriors, Warriors guard Mark Jackson was effusive in his praise of James, saying he will go down as one of the greatest ever. Earlier in the week, James commented that if they ever make a Mt. Rushmore for the NBA, he would be on it. James put Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson on there, and when asked if he would be there when his career is over, he told NBA TV's Steve Smith, "Yeah.
